I see repub after repub get on tv and rant and rant and rant, allowing no interference. Then the dems get interrupted over and over and over.

I'm glad the dems are finally standing upright and fighting back. To heck with the blustering republicans.

There are nutjobs on both sides. PERIOD There just seem to be more on the far-right-wing-side.

The Republicans have 5 DIFFERENT Platforms – it depends on who they talk to..

Romney better known as ROB-ME has at least 12 different platforms – wishy washy guy

ONE THING for sure – he has millions in the Cayman Islands – nice financial platform there – ask him how much he has – see if you get the same answer

Who cares? The platform was fixed, although I don't believe they needed to. Dems have a big tent and everyone doesn't believe in God. I think they were trying to hard to please everyone.

The study concluded that on average a man or woman retiring at age 65 in 2023 would have to pay $59,500 more for health care over the length of their retirement under Mitt Romney's plan.

The numbers are even higher for younger people who retire later, the study found. A person who qualifies for Medicare in 2030 — today's 48-year-old — would see an increase of $124,600 in Medicare costs over their retirement period.

to the godless party, hey obama, in an interview you said you have cut taxes on small business 18 times, do you mind showing us where you cut taxes? or is it that you have cut small business by 18 times greater than Bush did, all I can see are lies from obama and No Tax Cuts.

Never buy a book about politicians during an election.

Never see a movie about politicians during an election.

They are BOTH BIG MONEY MAKERS and they both are filled with lies, distortions, and innuendos.

It is inexcusable that they even attempted to remove God from the platform. We pledge allegiance under God. If you dont want God to be involved in your country...move to Cuba

It is odd how the Republicans are making a big big deal about how the Democrats left out God in their platform when the Republicans left out God in their HEARTS.

I don't think they needed to change it either. It spoke of faith and what not. Besides, being a big tent party means actually opening up the tent for others, not forcing others to fit inside your tent.

Biggest lie – Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Atleast one time you have to be truthful to public. I am surprised that people voted you into congress. Though I am big supporter of democrat but this was unacceptable. They should have accepted the mistake and move on. They have made a mockery of themselves. Everybody makes mistake.. They made mistake.. Telling lie has made this a credibility issue.

  16. The REAL Truth...

I certainly have no personal issues with the GOP candidates. My issues are simple..
    1. There is no substance in the GOP platform. 12 Million jobs and a 20% tax cut are great sound bites, but PLEASE tell us how you plan to do that. Nothing concrete has been heard on any of their plans.
    2. Mittens has flip-flopped since day #1. On EVERY issue... EVERY issue.
    3. Willard refuses to follow tradition and RELEASE HIS TAX returns. This tells me there are things in there that would show us how much he cares about wealth and not the USA. It also tells me that both he and Anne have a level of arrogance over the "little people".
    4. I give to charity too... it's comensurate with my income level. If I made $42 MILLION last year, I sure wouldn't have an issue ponying up a couple hundred K. His donation percentage rate is no better than mine.
    5. Ryan is so far out there it's indescribable. He has been feeding from the public teat his entire adult life and has voted FOR some of the very things in congress that he is now against !!! His tax plan is a completely UNWORKABLE and UNFUNDED joke, and simply does not benefit anyone but the 1%.
    6. I have a fundamental issue with loosely disguised social engineering.

And no, I'm not a Dem.. I'm center right, and will surely NOT vote the GOP ticket this time.

Just curious. Do you accept Paul Ryan as your VP candidate? Perhaps you missed his ramblings about that Russian Atheist he admires so much? What is her name again? Ah, yes .... Ayn Rand.

The Pledge of Allegiance was written by an athiest and didn't contain a reference to "God". That was added by the repug congress at the height of the McCarthy "everyone who doesn't look and think exactly like me is a communist" era. Really dark time in our history, btw.

Why don't you ask a small business owner. My severly conservative relatives in VA HATE President Obama so much that my aunt used to shout O-Bama everytime she was angry about something. After she realized his stimulus plan and tax cuts actually helped her small business she no longer shouts his name everytime she's angry about something, but I doubt that will translate into a vote for him. She still hates him, but is unable to articulate just why.

  21. The REAL Truth...

@myviewis – have a bad weekend? Romney's numbers getting you down? Realization that the GOP has no chance in Nov coming to the fore?
Exscuses ??? At least the Dem's have a viable platform that appeals to other than the extremists! The problem with the GOP is that they refuse to acknowledge any responsibility for or party to the mess we are in. They have done nothing to move us forward in the last four yrs.. in fact the opposite. If you want to talk exscuses... why are the GOP constantly pointing fingers at Obama. NO budget, no this, no jobs bills passed, you didn't build it garbage, yada yada yada??? HOw convenient to pass legislation in the House with anti-abortion and defense spending increase riders, get it rejected by the Senate then blame Obama for getting nothing done. And the lemmings lap it up as gospel.

  25. "Obama Revealed"

The media coins Pres Obama "Cool and Thoughtful" but to us ordinary people he comes across Calculated, Secetive and cold....The program "OBAMA REVEALED" is just rehashing his 31/2 years in the White House...."Bind Laden is Dead" fine and dandy ...but Pres Obama's process in order of priorities failed to put "Country and People First" and as a result we have a very divided country and with high un-employment...As far as Pres Obama's display and talk of "Fatherhood"
is concerned..it seems that Papa-Obama only discovered this since in the White House...we saw no Testimonials to the contrary....and so we must ask "Who is the real Obama-not revealed....
