(CNN) – President Barack Obama on Wednesday condemned the attack that killed U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens in Libya.
"The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these acts," the president said, vowing justice for the deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
"We will not waiver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done," he added.
Stevens "died in a country that's still striving to emerge from the recent experience of war."
Obama will visit the State Department after his remarks at The White House, according to a release from his office.

Mitt Romeny should have left this situation to the Obama Administration. This is a very delicate situation. Prays go out to the families for their lose. Prays for military personnel that have their lives on the line. I am so disappointed with Gov. Romeny this was not about politics.

Freedom of speech is the most precious right we have in this country. If a film maker wants to waste his time publishing a film with whatever subject he wants, it's clearly up to him! It's up to us if we want to pay to watch it. On the other hand, freedom of will & speech ends when someone else's rights infringe in my rights! Muslims extremists go out and kill people who disagree with them, which obviously infringe in other people's rights to live! These thugs feel they're the only ones that have the right of "free will/speech", which they demonstrate by killing people. It's absolutely true that our president has apologized, over and over again, for our freedoms and falsely assumes that by pulling down our mode of life he'll gain the favor of these extremists! The death of this ambassador is full proof that this administration's approach is the wrong one! These people only respect power and we have not "spoken softly and carried a big stick". This tragedy serves only to demonstrate the mistakes of this administration's foreign policy.

What happened is a shame. Romney was right to comment on this, and hold the President to account, all Obama has done so far is payed lip service, where is the action. My thanks to the religious right in this country for doing their best to start another holy war in this world. I think Romney critized the soft response to the cairo attack. the president said that the state departments response was not the white houses response. so Romeny and the President are on the same page but yet Romney is being called out for his remarks.
