Romney, Republicans increase attacks on Obama

Washington (CNN) - Republicans led by presidential challenger Mitt Romney served up a heaping helping of political red meat on Friday, launching a salvo of attacks on President Barack Obama that called him a liar and a failed leader.

Romney told an interview broadcast on ABC that his biggest concern about the three upcoming presidential debates is that Obama will be untruthful.

Romney attempt at an offensive is only hurting his campaign even more. He is losing more ground each day.

I can't wait until November 7th. This guy has become the new AK mutant. Does he understand that unless he commits suicide after the 7th he will be forever be known as a piece of animal dung and he is going to have to live with himself? For a man who is so uncomfortable being himself he has really sold his soul to the devil.
Now Kansas is discussing removing the a president's name from the November ballot!!! We hear crickets from the twit campaign. Can you imagine if the Democrats wanted to keep one whole state from voting because they think they wouldmlose? What kind of country do we live in anymore where it's citizens are prohibited from our one right. The twit has no character and no judgment. Even mccain at the end grew a pair!

Attack away, you GOP neo-trolls. The vapid attacks are merely a sign of feral desperation, as the bottom continues to drop out of the poll results. You will look even MORE feckless to the discerning voter. People can already see the desperate fear in Romneys eyes, and they can smell it in the baseless partisan attacks that he launched amid national tragedy. And now the sense of [R] fear and deperation will be thick enough to cut through when they escalate the buffoonery.

And of course he uses the old Rove attack angle: when you know you HAVE to lie just to survive intellectually on the same stage as your opponent, then pre-emptively attack your opponent for lying. Pure rightwing DEFLECTION. Only the slackjaws will fall for it. The IQ test coming in Nov. will lbe a shocker. If you vote [R] in Nov., statistically speaking, you will be no smarter than a trained parrot.

One can almost smell Romney's desperation ... this is not a good week for Republicans and certainly not for Mitt Romney.

  9. The REAL Truth...

This rat terrier needs to head home now. This is one GOP candidate that will definitely not get my vote. It's such a shame that so many red state lemmings will vote for him anyway – as the "Obama bad, anyone else will do" mentality is far to prevalent.

Nothing says I am losing this fight like a bunch of unfounded attacks on the current President. Romney, you sound ignorant and bitter! Stop trying to ruin the country by doing this. You are a fool!

you can always tell which side is losing a contest because they usually do stuff like this. let's face it..the people that are NOT going to vote for Obama aren't going to vote for him anyway so this type of junk that keeps them entertained. All Romney can do is attack because he has little else to back him up. It will be very interesting if he does lose this election which reporter can get the first post election interview with him and find out why he let his campaign fail him like he is doing.

It is wholely and eternally damaging to the Repulican Party to endorse a "win-at-all-costs" approach in elections.

We have rules in America that govern voting and have stood the test of time. GOP`ers, if you can no longer WIN elections because your policies have alienated too many, then CHANGE YOUR POLICIESJ you won`t be successful changing the rules!

Latinos, Asian, gays, Blacks, women, college-educated whites, and non-college educated white who take time to ThINK about your BS – - ALL of them will NOT vote for you anymore. EVOLVE or perish.

I'm not a GOP water carrier but Ive been reading these message boards and people are sick of the way they treat the president. I think the GOP thinks its okay because he is black but this is not cool and it will cost them the election. Romney and his camp look beat they lost the battle of the conventions, these guys are launching preemptive strikes against the president. They suck and the media is not left or right they are just cashing super PAC checks it behooves them to keep this thing alive more Super PAC checks so the coverage has been anti obama on every channel but MSNBC. Yet this guy is so desperate, so fake and his camp is simply imploding. Trust me this president despite what Hannity, Rush or any other Pundit tells you is not anti America. Taxes are lower, we caught Bin Laden and he has done more for more people than any president in recent history. 800K job losses a month, auto industry collapse, financial industry, housing sector they all sank and almost went belly up. He did a great job in 3.5 years I remember what it was like and it was Dark when George W gave him the keys

Who more has been dishonest and lied like Willard and Lying Ryan. He is simply pathetic and sold his soul to the devils within the Republican Party. Mitts has become a tool for the tea party.

I find it appalling and incomprehensible that Romney and Ryan find it necessary to be so divisive, foul, and repugnant at a time when our government employees have been brutally murdered and there are threats of this terror coming to our shores!! They choose to divide us as opposed to coming together. No need to wonder why their favorability is falling and President Obama's is rising! You don't have to be a Rhodes Scholar to figure it out! I am ashamed that men with their limited vision and perspective are actually running to lead our country. It's frightening!

Typical RNC with their weapons of Mass Deception, if Obama is as much of sitting duck as they see he is why do they need so much super pack money. You have a 24/7 right wing news channel in fox, why so many lies. God works in mysterious ways thought these guys had thier convention implode and Willard is makes Sara Palin look like the better option for VP four years ago.

  22. Republican who supports President Obama

Romney should not be given any additional special treatment nor should he have access to any security or intelligence briefings until he is officially elected (which the odds are falling out of his favor every day). He has proven to be an unintelligent mouthpiece of the far-right with no solid plan of his own or details to backup any of his so-called statements.

Didn't they say that Obama would have to run a smear campaign because he couldn't run on his record. Well, the President IS running on his record... and it's Romney-Ryan who are mounting a disgusting, desperate smear campaign because they don't have anything to offer the American people.

  24. Republican who supports President Obama

Mittens should just end the campaign now because the platform he is running on does not hold water. Criticizing every decision our President makes but offers nothing in return is not Presidential at all. To me he looks like a whining baby who is upset he did not get his Power Ranger doll at x-mas.

It occurs to me that Mr. Romney might want to renew his study of the First Rule of Holes: when you are in one, stop digging. At the moment he's going deeper and deeper with every word he utters.
