Romney, Republicans increase attacks on Obama

Washington (CNN) - Republicans led by presidential challenger Mitt Romney served up a heaping helping of political red meat on Friday, launching a salvo of attacks on President Barack Obama that called him a liar and a failed leader.

Romney told an interview broadcast on ABC that his biggest concern about the three upcoming presidential debates is that Obama will be untruthful.

We're watching a non-violent revoultion of Americans who've realized it's time to stop the combined takeover from the right-wing billionaires funding the candidates and the neo-cons who aren't smart enough to know they're being used. Independents are making their decisions and choosing the President's mature leadership over a greedy, spoiled preppy who wants power and serves as a puppet for the Koch brothers.

  2. "Rob-me" Romney and "Lyin" Ryan

The ship is sinking so fast any contributions to the Romney campaign are totally wasted. He's told the lies and people don't believe them. He gives absolutely no specifics on his fancy promises and wants us to "trust him". He won't even show us his tax returns and that proves he's hiding something completely disasterous to his campaign. It's over.

Now that everyone knows that Romney and Ryan are compulsive liars I think they are just reversing everything they say. That's what I do.

Thank God & I do mean God that Romeny had the guts/grit to call Obama into accountability to move quickly to defend and find those responsible for killing Americans in Lybia at our US Embassy. Make me president: I can/would put 3 million people to work in a day; make sure our two party system remains ias it is a God given balance for our nation; bring our military to 100% immediately and maintain it as such; leave and ensure military/vet, social security, medical, etc in place to protect Americans/our seniors especially who built this country; and do so without tax increases as well as much more.

Vote as the Father of this country would have you vote and not of your own opinion – HE knows the past, present and future and what can heal this country – not us without HIS love and absolutes. LIsten – hear/apply – to what HE says including letting no nation or people terroristic or otherwise harm our people, nation, land again as they did on 9/11/2011!

Mr. Romney is afraid that he President will be untruthful. Wow! He is not hearing what the American people are saying. He is listening to Rush Limbaugh and others who would condemn this administration for the recent uprisings against the embassies. This is nothing new and has occurred under many past Presidents including Ronald Reagan. Can we forget the 220 marines killed in a bombing. The hijacked airliners which crashed into the Pentagon, World Trade Towers and in PA. These occurred during past administrations. No one goes unscathed in this world. Mr. Romney needs to worry about what he says. So far, he is not scoring many points with those who are thinking first and then speaking out. He has his cadre and unfortunately believes them when they say he should continue the attacks.

  7. ThinkAgain: Mittens 'n' Munster are Liars

Is anyone surprised Mittens is using this tactic? It's all the GOP has these days, from Fox to Limbaugh to Mittens: Spout lies as if they are true, in the hopes of once again convincing the feeble-minded, lazy GOP base (that wouldn't do a second of independent research of the FACTS if their lives depended on it) to vote against their own self-interest.

Mittens, you calling President Obama a liar may fly with your sheeple base, but the majority of Americans who DO think for themselves and who DO their own fact-checking (in addition to all the public fact-checkers) know that YOU are the liar – and a desperate, pathetic one at that!

You are going DOWN in the debate, Mittens, President Obama is going to wipe the FLOOR with your smug little fanny!

If you all of the lies that are proven lies with no gray area this campaign, Romney wins the lying contest hands down and now with Ryan on the ticket there is no way Romeny can lose the liar of the year award that Republicans hold so sacred to their party

It is disgusting the way Romney and Ryan are blaming the unrest in the Arab countries on President Obama and calling him weak. Ask Bin Laden if he is weak. Ask the other terrorist leaders who he has killed if he is weak. If they want to be honest, the real reason so many people in those countries don't trust and hate the US began during the Persian Gulf War in the late 80's started by Bush 41 and has festered ever since. The invasion and occupation of Iraq which did not have anything to do with 911 and had no WMD's, made them hate the US even more. Bush 43 started that war. Thousands of innocent families have been killed or wounded during the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. It is really no wonder that there are such bitter feelings by some. However, these protestors are just a radical minority and the majority of the citizens of the countries do not feel that way. They are victims too. The leaders of the countries involved need to step up and halt the protests and tell the truth about who is responsible for the horrible film. Actually that guy has some ties to the radical right Florida pastor so is he a right wing radical too? It should be found out if there is any kind of plan behind this whole thing. It makes you wonder.

I hope the first question asked at the presidential debate on October 3rd is "Governor Romney, you said that President. Obama isn't truthful. Name one thing he has been untruthful about?"

Gullible fools. Romney is the only one on track. Obama has done this country in –and the self serving media and that part of the population are clueless. The liberal media and Obama do not know truth because they do not think or speak truth. We had known where Bin Laden was for years, but others had sense enough not to kill him as he is far more dangerous dead than alive. Smart folks know this. Like pouring gas on the fire. But he has sacrificed the safety of our country and its citizens around the world just to be a hero to be re-elected. Now-that's a real leader–but of what–himself! Romney gets my vote–if you don't stand for something you will fall for anything as all of you apparently have–By the way, tell MIchelle–the overweight people are sitting on the couch getting their government check–stop sending those checks and you will cure obesity!

Each day I see Romney or Ryan is a sader day... Their lies are so bad that I can not see anyone wanting to vote for him. You can look at their faces and see them lying and thinking they are pulling fast ones on the American people. Romney keeps making remarks like the full force of our military (war) and him wanting to give 2.6 trillion more to the military than what they asked for tells us, He plans to start a war if elected. Ryan, says he is a good Catholic. Does good Catholics go by the 10 commandments? Thall shall not LIE.... Thall shall not Steal, Thall shall not bare faulse witness.... I do not consider him a good Catholic nor a good person. Romney was a religious leader for the Mormans... Lying everytime he turns around... Hate to see his judgement day! I can not vote for liars that think they are better than everyone else. These crooks just too much.....

I live in the middle east and I never subscribe to conspiracy theories so common in this part of the world .But I cannot help but think that this latest issue has been created by the right wing in the US who have lobbed the video bomb into here knowing fully well the reaction .This is a desparate act of a set of people who see their candidate trailing.

America,pl do not fall for this. You are lucky to have Obama as your president and I hope you re-elect him, otherwise it is back to the Bush years !!

"The president tends to, how shall I say it, to say things that aren't true," Romney said, contemplating whether he would spend debate time "correcting things that aren't quite accurate" or "talking about the things I want to talk about."

Really, Mitt, really? He who is the master of all masters doubled downed on lying when he picked Paul Ryan as his vice president. Did the Romney/Ryan not read the "Fact Check" articles the day after their convention that displayed lie after lie that was uttered at their convention? Have Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan been so psychologically damaged by a lifetime of lies that they can be evaluated as "pathological"? Exactly, who is the Republican audience these days? If Mitt Romney believes he can win the presidency and if any Republican believes they can win their congressional seats using racial overtones, they are sadly mistaken. World leaders are people of color and culture. They are not white. For the sake of the what's left of the Republican party, it may be to their advantage to come out of their delusional state of minds of who they are, acknowledge their complete and utter failure as a legitimate party and rebuild from the ground up, including their RNC chairman. Should they fail to do even that, then they should have no problem accepting the fact that they will not see inside the Oval office for at least 20 to 30 years. No joke.

Romney does a good job insulting our allies. Just think how fast he will have us at war with countries that don't like us with his foot in mouth diplomacy.

The GOTP & Romney campaign "blame" Obama, find "fault" w/Obama & are "outraged" w/Obama & they're hoping we will be too, if they keep up the mantra! I, however, blame the GOTP congress for our current slow moving economy, find huge faults w/the R & R budget & healthcare plans & am outraged by this crews treatment of American citizens! Congress-obstruct, filibuster, cut/block/ban & never-ever raise the 1%'s taxes, R&R budget-for the rich, by the rich, healthcare-it's a luxury after all, Marginalize/Disenfranchise-women (health/equality), children (education/health), gays (human/civil rights), people of color (same ol' bs/immigration), elderly (vouchers not accepted due to volume!), voter supression! It's never wise to side w/the 1% & hope you can stir up enough dislike for the competi.tion to slide in by default! You still have to have plauseable ideas of your own! Not the case here, just old retreads & a lot of Obama bashing! Well, Obama Nov.6!!

One can only admire the President to stay cool, focused, smart, and honest amid this sea of GOP/TP insults.
November cannot come fast enough to stop this GOP/TP madness! It is EVERY voter’s responsibility to stand up and be counted to say if they support lying on every topic the GOP/TP touches in order to sell America to the highest bidder or if they are for a civilized search to solve the problems we all face in our beloved county!

So while the President & Secretary of State were mourning the deaths of Americans, mittens & crew choose to score political points with his rabid base by attacking the President. Every day mittens proves again and again just how un-statesman like he is. He and lyin' should just pack it up and go home how.

It's alarming that mittens is going to start receiving national security briefings next week. He couldn't keep a secret to save the nation's life. IMO, the National Security Adviser should feed him some false statements and see how long it takes him to run back to his handlers and spill the details!
