(CNN) - Conservative legal scholar Ted Olson has been tapped to play the role of Vice President Joe Biden in Paul Ryan's debate prep sessions, Mitt Romney's campaign said Saturday.
The two men participated in their first mock debate session this past week.

Olson is one of the fiercest legal minds of his generation and successfully argued for George W. Bush in the landmark 2000 Supreme Court case Bush v. Gore.
But he has also become a staunch advocate for same-sex marriage in recent years and has argued in federal court against California's Prop. 8, which banned the practice. That earned him the enmity of some conservatives who saw him as a sell-out.
Olson served as solicitor general under President George W. Bush and has argued 58 cases before the Supreme Court, winning three quarters of those cases.
“Joe Biden has been in elected office for more than 40 years," said Brendan Buck, a spokesman for Ryan. "There are few people in politics with more experience debating the issues than Joe Biden, so we are taking this process seriously. Mr. Olson is one of the most skilled, intelligent, and successful litigators in America – just the kind of opponent needed to prepare the Congressman for Mr. Biden."
Ryan and Biden will square off in the Vice Presidential debate on Oct. 11 in Kentucky.

paul ryan does not understand people / public/american people. he does not have much knowledge for human aspirations, god and religion. he thinks himself as a prophet and a great leader, who can convince american people what is good dor them and how to succeed in life. He and mit romney only know enough for their respective success, even thoug success is only partly. with romney's birth and opportunities, he had, he could have been a billionaire like bill gates, warren buffets and the like but he failed to reach that status because of his lack of business ablities. paul ryan however made some success in limited way through his abilities. american people are always working hard for their success but other factors, affect their lives, not being looked after by govt(s). with some help from riches and through their prayers, they can advance further. god help those, who help themselves. american people know this and depend on that. american people are not dependent on big govt. as claimed by paul ryan and mit romney. in fact they themselves depended on govt. indirectly not being investigated meeting govt. regulations. american public are hard working people and make good money by their own effort, only to be helped via mass education and mass health care. rest the american people can do and doing. ordinary public are more kind and generous to help those in need. mit romney's help towards a young lady is insignificant compared to other americans doing and helping every day within their limited means. romey and ryan failed to achieve their goals in their lives, so they are trying to become leaders to serve american people, infact only desiring to serve their egos to fill the gaps in their career. americans can not be fooled by their soft spoken lectures. american people need motivation, inspiration, education and better healt, so that they can do the rest.
