(CNN) – Just 49 days out from Election Day, a new poll in swing state New Hampshire released Tuesday shows President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney in a statistical tie among registered voters in the state.
The American Research Group poll shows 48% favoring Obama and 46% favoring Romney. The president's advantage falls within the poll's sampling error.

The poll also shows 49% approving and 44% disapproving of the way Obama is handling his job as president while 41% approve and 46% disapprove of the way he is handling the economy.
A WMUR Granite State Poll taken last week of likely voters (note the ARG poll today is of registered voters) after the Democratic National Convention also showed the pair in a statistical tie in the state with 45% favoring Obama and 40% supporting Romney with a sampling error of plus or minus four percentage points.
New Hampshire has four electoral votes and is one of the nine states considered a toss up on the CNN Electoral Map.
The New Hampshire Poll was conducted by telephone from September 15 through 17. Of the 600 interviews conducted, 558 were of New Hampshire registered voters: 167 were registered Republicans, 156 registered Democrats and 235 undeclared voters. The sampling error for the 558 registered voters is plus or minus 4.2 percentage points.

That poll is sure to change after Willard's ridiculous "47%" remarks. Geesh! N.H. is Willard's backyard and he's losing there. His favorability is in major decline.
Well more good news for camp Romney its clear at least half the people in this state are Smart !!!!
R & R for a better america
he could be the first candidate to lose his home state and all the states around it. Of course, since Flip has two home states, it's double the embarrassment
And polls today show Obama up 8 points in VA. Guess which one matters more.
Now, guess why CNN chose to report this one.
Romney should win NH assuming the state hasn't been infected by too many Massachusetts Democrats tryin gto flee that high tax state.
Romney has no core. He will say & do anything to get elected. When he speaks please observe him closely you will notice he is not genuine.
Sniffit - And polls today show Obama up 8 points in VA.

yeah, the turn around of the Virginia economy thanks to the Republicans in charge is going to hurt Romney and help Obama. No good deed goes unpunished. I hope the voters of Virginia wake up before election day and realize that with Romney in the Whitehouse their recovery will be even better.
Romney speaks the truth and his core does know this and accepts this. If you want a job and are able to work then vote for job, vote for Mitt. You deserve a job, your children deserve a job all Amricans are entiltled to jobs.
4 Electoral votes. WHOOPTEEEEE DOOOOOO

With the list of toss-up states this year, there's a lot of paths to 270 that those 4 electoral votes are critical.

This where I have to draw the line. Virginia did not get "severely" hit by this recession like alot of other states did. What you fail to mention is that Virginia is the home of the military and we get billions of dollars in defense. Not to mention that my beloved Governor Ultrasound received stimulus funds. All across my state I saw signs reading this project is funded by "The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act."
I'm in NH and Obama is NOT so popular here. I don't know a single person who would vote for im again?
I do believe that liberals are desperately looking for ANY flaw in Romney. These "Mother Jones" faux shock videos are nothing but a red herring. Since when is the TRUTH a shocker? We, the 53% who pay taxes, won't vote for Obama and the 47% who do not pay, WILL vote for him. That's the truth, people. Romney remarks get more press than Middle east exploding today? DESPERATION, I say. We need more JOBS, not more ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS.
If romney makes so much sense, why resort to voter supression? you really want a pparty that will pervert the voting process! make it harder for minorities to vote because they wont vote the way you want. that is an attempt to limit votes. not very patriotic is it? draft dodge, tax dodge, protect your kids from military service, then tell me im the problem. im your problem because i will vote, and you cant stop me.
Apparently, 46% of Granite state voters have the same malignant intellectual desease that fairISfair and truthhurts have.
One symptom of this desease is the obvious Tourette's like outbursts of utter nonsense in defense of more utter nonsense. The other symptom is a predaliction for enemas - [R]s have been self-administering some pretty brutal political enemas to themselves and their furry followers about once-per-day for the past two weeks, and the slack-jaw hoarde keeps coming back for more!

"People should not have to pay income taxes on social security retirement checks. It would be a double tax. The money was taxed when it was first earned."

Those collecting SS that have a certain level of other income (401(k) distributions, interest, dividends, pensions, annuities, etc.) have at least portion of their SS taxable. So what you're really saying is that it's perfectly acceptable to double tax SS – as long as you're double-taxing the "wealthy". Typical double standard.
---------------------------------–
You must be having a bad hair day or something. I used to always give you credit for having brains. How you figure that I say that it is "perfectly acceptable to double tax SS" is typical right wing hate. I pains me to see that you, too, have fallen victim to right wing dumbing down of America. What are you goint to say next, "One plus One equals Three?""
Voter suppression is a shameful way to try to win the most powerful position in the world, no place for a man with no compassion. again i wont vote for someone trying to pervert the system. theese things should scare you. mitt is trying to cheat to win the most POWERFUL.POSITION IN THE WORLD. not a place for someone with that level of integrity. this isnt a damn game people, he will be on the world stage, in a very trying time in history, and he is cheating? wrong guy for the job period

Okay, let's ask Obama to instruct all government agencies (Social Security, Welfare, etc...) and all hospitals, clinics, doctors that they are not to process 1 single person that cannot produce an ID when they need services from the government.
Let's see how quickly these people can produce a photo ID in order to get their Social Security matter taken care of or pick up their food stamps or be seen by a doctor. I bet you they could get an acceptable photo ID quickly.
Really! So what, President Obama still leads, so your point here CNN? It's interesting that the poll reflects these numbers when a majority in that State are wealthy (which one would tend to believe would vote for their own) so in the end robo-Robney still is a LOOSER.
Romney Ryan 2012.

YOU ARE RIGHT!!! I forgot about him. I was thinking originally about Mondale but at least he won his state. Al Gore has the dubious McGovern honor too
Seriously, my fellow Americans, a vote for Mitt Romney will guarantee starvation and depression in America and the world.
Romney not ready for world stage, not everyone works for the rich mitt, you are seriously out of yoyr league
