(CNN) - In a rare moment bipartisanship, some on Capitol Hill Thursday saw the parties joining together to drive a nail, rather than drive a wedge.
House Speaker John Boehner stepped in to assist House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi hammer in a ceremonial first nail.
Boehner, Pelosi, and other legislative leaders were appearing at a ceremony marking the start of construction on the platform for the presidential inauguration in January.
Rep. Boehner, what happened to all the jobs you said would be your top priority back in 2010. You have named federal buildings and spent an inordinate amount of time worrying about what I do in my bedroom or what is happening in my uterus, which is really NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.
We need to find some way to work together. This country is not moving ahead because of ALL of Congress. Do something, anything, please.
It's great seeing House Speaker John Boehner doing some physical labor , relating to all the hard working people in the building sector .
As for House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi , she looks like Dan Akroyd impersonating Julia Child on SNL.
Anyway , I do believe they could get things done and work together , if we get rid of Eric Cantor and the TeaFreaks .
The closest those two will come to productive work.
