Washington (CNN) - Republican challenger Mitt Romney tweaked his campaign strategy twice this week in an attempt to refocus the election debate on President Barack Obama's record after controversial remarks that brought criticism from both his Democratic opponent and some GOP colleagues.
Unable to overtake Obama less than seven weeks from Election Day, the former Massachusetts governor and his campaign team have been lambasted by some Republicans for veering away from messaging focused on what they call the president's failed policies and broken promises.

His plans don't and never did include the very folks whose votes he was going to need to win. Besides screw them after they voted for him. Fact is, it's becoming ever more apparent he really DOESN'T care - Ms Ayotte of New Hampshire - about America or it's people. Why on earth Republicans thought this man could become President of the United States is beyond reason. Even THEY don't like the man.
Someone should ask Romney which tax loopholes that he would KEEP, since he won't tell us the ones he would eliminate.

Wow. Rick Perry just said that he believes that the clauses in the Consitution about the separation of church and state are the work of Satan. What's so scarey about that is how the right wing was ranting and raving about Perry last year.
Romney can Pivot all he wants, his beliefs are clear. Less regulation on industries that rip off the middle class and poor (remember the mortgage scandal, the banking bail out and the BP oil spill). Fewer taxes for the ultra rich.

Do you call that pivot? That's typical of a camelion. Romney only switches to another of his many colors. He mocked and stood against Hispanic interests, and now he runs to them for saving grace, but no grace shall be accorded to Romney except the grace of using our votes to dismiss his insults.
