(CNN) – In an after-midnight session the U.S. Senate passed a bill Saturday in a 62 to 30 vote to fund the federal government for the next six months, thus putting off any shutdown of the government until early next year. The bill will go to the president for his signature and final passage into law.

What, no theatrics from the teabaggers to shut down the government, not raise the debt ceiling, and wreck the world economy? They must've been sleep voting.
Where were the other 8 dead beats when the voting took place?

No public, alarmist fight with President Obama? The Republicans are terrified and rightly so. That obstruction strategy thingy is not working too well for them. So close to the election, they have to try to save thir own skins. Too little, too late.
Reid will never, allow compromise. NOT EVER!
Give the Senate and the House 6 months without pay - because they are never there and they get absolutely nothing done.
Thank you sir for your insight.
Remove the Obstructionist RepubliCAN'T party in 2012.
Why I have a feeling that alot of republicans SHALL LOSE their JOBS and PAYCHECKS in the midterm elections
