On the Trail: September 24, 2012

(CNN) - With 43 days until Election Day, Mitt Romney wakes up in Denver Monday before heading to Pueblo, Colorado for a campaign rally. The Republican presidential nominee later flies to New York City to address the Clinton Global Initiative meeting on Tuesday.

President Barack Obama also travels to the Big Apple to participate in events related to the United Nations General Assembly, where he'll deliver remarks the following day. The president and his wife, Michelle, will tape an appearance on ABC's "The View" while in New York.

Also on the trail Monday, GOP vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan kicks off a three day bus tour for the Romney campaign in Ohio.

10:40 a.m. ET – Ryan arrives in Dayton, Ohio.

2 p.m. ET - Romney attends a rally at Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum in Pueblo, Colorado.

3:10 p.m. ET – Ryan attends a town hall at the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center in Lima, Ohio.

4:10 p.m. ET – The president and first lady tape an appearance on "The View."
