(CNN) - Air Force One, flying President Barack Obama to a campaign event, aborted an initial landing attempt in Ohio on Wednesday due to weather conditions.
The jumbo jet experienced turbulence on approach to Toledo and was within sight of the runway when the pilot pulled the plane up and circled the airport, according to reporters on board.

Take good care of our President, Mr. Pilot.
Glad that President Obama is safe and sound.
Forward 2012!
Who cares... happens a lot every day. Hardly news worthy.
Why didn't just strap Seamus to the roof or roll down the windows? What's wrong with them? Disconcerting!!!!
I am pleased and amazed to hear about the protection of our President. Keep up the good work to everyone involved! I believe the whole world needs you to keep him safe.
Really good care!!!
If "Air Force One" can't land, nobody can. That is the best maintained, best crewed aircraft in the world. Boeing loses money every time they work on it and they put their best people into the crews that service and make upgrades to this airplane. I, for one, hope that no matter who wins the crew nev er takes a chance with their cargo.
Keep our Pres Obama safe always when flying AFOne
Kudos to the competent crew! Love you!
