Obama above 50% in some battleground polls

(CNN) - New polls in three swing states indicate President Barack Obama exceeding 50% support among likely voters and holding leads of nine to 12 points over Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

Fueling those numbers, the four polls suggest that Romney has lost his edge on the economy, an issue on which the challenger has based his campaign.

@ "Truth Hurts" .....really? "Obama has kept people down for so long"! America is doing better then in 2008! When the Stock Market Crashed, Housing imploded and we were losing millions of jobs each week!

Once again the GOP's failed strategy of hate, lies, fear and division has failed and failed in a big way!

The GOP will lose the House, the Democrat's numbers in the Senate will grow...... and Pres. Obama will be reelected!

The GOP does not GET IT!

The only reason the polls show he is leading is because the polls are overweighted with dems. Some even more so than 2008. The media is setting this up to declare that there is voter fraud when obama loses, and set up the meme of voter supporession.

The kicker is that Wisconsin, Florida and Ohio have better employment numbers and economic conditions because they elected REPUBLICAN governors that got the states back on track and operating based on sound financial principles. So their success is translating to an Obama positive, since he is taking credit for their work. NOTHING new there!!

Mitt Romney continues to put his his foot in his mouth his true feelings continue to become exposed. Remember the time when being an american was about living the dream of coming from nothing and becoming whatever you desire to be. I feel that Romney is stating if your not born wealthy or earn enough to pay taxes then you dont matter. Does the guy that parks our cars or the maids that clean our homes or hotels. Or the cashier that rings us up at the grocery store, Or the guys that takes away the garbage or the waitress that takes our orders not matter these ppl work hard and are trying to make a decent living but may need foodstamps or help with housing Not all Americans on welfare want to be some work everyday like the rest of us . And the people that work all year and at the end recieve a income tax credit thats considered WELFARE even though you have worked hard and long is an unfair statement on Mitts part . He has been exposed and now the decent ppl that were behind him have abandoned him because he is a fake and only concerned about helping himself and others like him .

Truth hurts, most people can see that the economy is in better shape than the Romney campaign. This is why Romney is losing.

I find it so amusing that the states who Mr. Romney is railing against – the ones who are collecting the most in welfare – – the ones who consistently run IN the red, budget-wise – are the very states that are 'Red' states.
Way to denigrate the very people who vote Republican.

Thank FactCheck for pointing out that the Blue states have been financially been carrying the Red states for a long time. Out of the 10 state which have the highest rate of people who pay no federal tax, 7 are Repug strongholds. When Romney talked about the 47% of gov't loafers who are looking for gov't handouts and freebies, he was talking about his own base and not Obama's base of more highly educated voters who have a much better employment rate. I guess Romney's base in the South is just too uneducated by learn only what we want you to know homeschooling, or too busy working themselves up into a religious frenzy, or too brainwashed by FauxNews to realize that they fall into the 47% category that Romneyhood spoke so derogatorily about when in private with his millionaires boys club of supporters. Go ahead Red States and vote against your own personal interests. The Blue States and President Obama will protect you once again from your own stupidity.

truth – I was looking at the Wisconsin numbers for unemployment, and remembered Scott Walker promised to create 250,000 jobs. Right now he is at 10,000 jobs created, with only 240,000 more to go to fulfill his campaign promise. Maybe he wishes he did not cancel the high speed rail road to pay off his campaign donors at Wisconsin Central.

All of those states are doing better because of things like the Auto bailout, something Kasich, Walker, and Scott ahve all acknowleged. WI would be doing even better if in terms of unemployment if Walker had not laid off so many public sector workers. Walker and Co taking credit for the success of their states is like Romney talking credit for the auto industry: they opposed it until they could no longer deny they had been wrong, but took the credit anyway. Kind of like taking credit for saving a life after you already called the funeral home. BTW, Kasich is under fire for not slamming Obama enough, if you bothered to notice ( which you have not). Nothing new here, watching you deny the truth.

The more Romney's message and capabilities get out the more people will understand
    --------

I have been through the entire contents of the Romney web site and I can not find a single specific plan or idea. Others who do this for a living have also come to the same conclusion. There is nothing to understand because there is nothing presented.

FactCheck – Romney is not running on idea, he is running on birtherism, and lies. The people of MA know what an empty suit Mittens is, and he is trailing in his home state by 28 points. For a rich plutocrat, he is a failure at everything but outsourcing and tax evasion.

Hmmm, rasmussin today has them neck and neck at 46% each, and when "leaners" are counted it is 48% Romney 46% Obama. You lefties might want to wait to count your chickens as the eggs ain't all hatched yet.

    Facts don't Lie
This race is FAR from over trust me. As long as Mitt has a bottomless pit of money and some voters can be kept from the polls even though voter fraud has yet to be proven and Mitt keeps the over age 52 white male vote on his side. After 2000 I don't trust any election until the last vote is counted. All this projection stuff is news filler.....

    September 26, 2012 01:15 pm at 1:15 pm |

The only problem is Mitts is running out of Real Estate. Unlike Dubya, that was a close election were both Bush and Gore had many options to get to 270. Right Now, Romney doesn't have many options if the real estate stay as is. Not only on the polls of polls on RealClearPolitics have Ohio now leaning to Obama as he is averaging out to over a 5 point lead. Wisconsin is over 8 points, Michigan is closing to 9 points spread. Iowa is now a 4 point spread in Favor of Obama. Right now all the states that Romney needs to win that are all toss up, the average and all the latest polls are all in favor of Obama.

Mitt is going to lose very badly on Nov. 6th.
I received a call from the Romney campaign yesterday seeking my generous donation of $200. I informed the caller that my parents are part of the 47% that his candidate dismissed as not mattering and that I am supporting President Obama with my money, my time, and most importantly, my vote.
