Boehner, Rubio to stump for Romney ahead of debate

(CNN) – House Speaker John Boehner and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida will campaign for Mitt Romney this week as the GOP presidential nominee faces off on the debate stage for the first time in the general election.

Rubio, once considered a top contender as Romney's running mate, will attend a rally Tuesday in Las Vegas, close to the site of President Barack Obama's debate preparation in Henderson, Nevada.

The president is scheduled to stay in Henderson as he gears up for Wednesday night's showdown in Denver. Romney, meanwhile, travels to Colorado on Monday.

Rubio's event comes one day after Ann Romney, Romney's wife, also holds a rally in Henderson.

Boehner, meanwhile, heads to Florida - another crucial battleground state - to appear at a morning event Tuesday in Naples.

  2. ThinkAgain: Hey, networks, fact-check the debates in real-time and put it in the crawl!

They can stump all they want; it won't change the FACT that Mittens has written off 47% of America (including veterans, the elderly and the disabled) and, most important, that Mittens 'n' Munster are offering up the same-old, same-old GOP economic, military and foreign policies that are PROVEN FAILURES.

    Obama/Biden 2012 = The only sane choice

    J. McCain says "Americans probably feel better than they did before about jobs and the economy". Why would I vote for someone who runs on a business platform but won't put forth a business plan to view the details? Romney and Ryan are still plagiarizing information. The 12million he keeps talking about came from Moody's analysts and he has not given credit to them. Ryan plagiarized Obama's health care plan and has not given Obama's team credit. An awful lot of Ryan's plan was already in Obama's plan. Also don't go looking up the topic of "Son of Boss", you will be disapointed in what you find.

If Boehner have so much time to spare, he should had kept congress in town and pass Obams's jobs bill. Oh yea, that would have given Obama a win and we just can't have that. Just forget about use little people that's looking for a job
"Obama/Biden" , all the way! By the way, how many vacations have they had this year. They don't work.
I wish all I had to say on my job is the word "NO" and get 1/2 year off for vacation.

Boehner to hit the campaign trail for Romney? It must be that Romney is bringing down the Republican party as a whole and Boehner is in jeopardy of becoming unemployed five weeks from now.

    Right-wing Social engineering

The Ryan plan now embraced by Romney is really a right-wing social engineering procedure as named by Gingrich. This is one plain truth spoken by Gingrich in all he has being saying about Romney...now he wishes he could take it back, but why should he try to take back the TRUTH...? ...why?

Of all candidates to ever run for the GOP presidency, Romney has the least convfidence, poise and honesty...

Why would any intellignet person ever vote for Romney?

Rubio is likely relieved not to be on Romney's sinking ship. He should gloat since he obviously would have been a more marketable candidate than Ryan with his well publicized plans to eliminate social security, medicare, and medicaid.

Prior to the 2010 midterms Boehner convinced many conservatives to get out and vote. He said, "if we can regain the house, we can stop Obama and create thousands of jobs, and get Americans back to work". If conservatives still believe unemployment is a big problem in this country, how could they logically let Boehner and the Republican led house off the hook. Boehner did promise if he became speaker the house would fix everything. To date the house has not passed one bill that creates jobs. So if you Fox-"news"-brainwashed conservatives want to blame only Obama then you are all hypocrites, or very forgetful, or not very intelligent.

  18. Are you kidding me?

Boehner should talk about what he had done during his term as Speaker of the House. After all he accomplished a lot...... A whole lot of crap to stymy the economy and obstruct any forward progress. He represents what is wrong with the GOP – immaturity.

We want to elect leaders who will actually do work for the people not work against them for the simple reason the president is not in the same party. The GOP has engaged in hyperpartisan trench warfare. We all deserve much better.

....and no I am not a liberal. I am for cooperation and bipartisanship.

John Boehner is the last person anyone should care who he endorses. He is the leader of the obstructionist party that is the cause of the pain and suffering for many. Why on earth would anyone care about anything the lying tan man has to say?

Boehner? Rubio? Ann? What are they going to promise the people since the GOP/TP party of NO will be (hopefully) gone after Nov. 6th?
Do not let the GOP steal the election! Do not take anything for granted! Let’s go and VOTE the GOP out!!
