Romney message for debate week: 'The Big Choice'

Washington (CNN) - Mitt Romney officials distributed talking points to Republican allies and surrogates late Sunday night outlining the campaign's message heading into Wednesday's debate in Denver.

Read the list of Romney "message points," provided to CNN by a Republican source outside the campaign, below.

Surrogate Message Points: The Big Choice

Top-Line Message:

· This election is a choice between two very different visions for our nation's future – and that choice will be on full display at the debate this Wednesday.

· Barack Obama doesn't have a record to run on or a plan for the future.

· Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are offering exactly what our nation needs – real reforms for a real recovery.

· Whether we're talking about jobs, health care, debt, taxes, or foreign policy, the choice this election is clear.

· Under President Obama, we will have four more years of the last four years, with a stagnant economy that fosters government dependency and a foreign policy that makes the world less safe.

· When Mitt Romney is president, our nation will have pro-growth policies that foster upward mobility – and lift people out of poverty – and we will ensure peace through American leadership and strength.

Jobs:

· In a second term, President Obama will keep piling on the taxes, regulations, and debt that have ground our recovery to a halt.

o America has lost 582,000 manufacturing jobs on President Obama's watch.

o President Obama continues to push for devastating tax increases that will kill more than 700,000 jobs.

· Mitt Romney's Plan for a Stronger Middle Class will create 12 million new jobs and deliver rising incomes.

o Mitt Romney will champion manufacturing jobs and bring them back to our shores.

o He will also reform the tax code to create millions of new jobs.

Health Care:

· If President Obama is re-elected, up to 20 million Americans could lose their employer health insurance that they like, $716 billion will be raided from Medicare to pay for Obamacare, and health premiums will continue to skyrocket.

· Mitt Romney will ensure Americans can keep their insurance and protect Medicare by repealing Obamacare and replacing it with health care reform that provides better care at lower costs.

Debt:

· President Obama has racked up more than $5 trillion in debt over the past four years; in a second term he'll let our debt climb to $20 trillion.

· Mitt Romney will cut spending, get the United States on the path to a balanced budget, and get our country's AAA credit rating back.

Taxes:

· President Obama has already raised taxes 19 times. In a second term, he will raise taxes by another $2 trillion.

· As governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney cut taxes 19 times. When he is president, Mitt Romney will not raise taxes on anyone, and he'll deliver tax cuts for the middle class.

Foreign Policy:

· President Obama's foreign policy has placed America and our allies at the mercy of events and those who mean to do us harm.

o He has downgraded our relationship with Israel, failed to develop a strategy that protects and advances our interests in the Middle East, and put our nation on track for massive cuts to the defense budget.

· Mitt Romney will provide the leadership needed to shape world events and protect our interests and our ideals.

o Mitt Romney will reverse the President's defense cuts, and he will never apologize for America.

The message for the debate is

    1) "OBAMA THE SOCIALIST"
    2) "OBAMA WHO WOULD NOT TALK ABOUT HIS PERFORMANCE"
    3) "OBAMA WHO IS ABETTING THE UNION BOSSES, NOT THE PEOPLE"

    Make your choice !!

Of course, NONE of Romney's talking points include any FACTS about what he really plans to do IF elected. 18 months ago I planned to vote for Romney and told folks that he was the most electable candidate that the GOP had. Watching the debates I kept that opinion, as the rest of the field, with the exception of Ron Paul proved that they were the most inept bunch EVER to seek the presidency. As the debates progressed and after, it became painfully obvious that Romney was the biggest flip flopper ever to run for the office, and he proved time and again that he had no actual plan but he seemed to excel at telling Lies. Ron Paul was clearly the best and most trustworthy candidate, but we all learned in 2008 that the GOP, FoxNews and the Koch brothers would never allow Paul to be the parties candidate.
At the RNC Convention, Romney sealed the deal as his VP choice took to the stage and gave the most LIE filled speech ever heard at a national convention by a VP candidate. Even the Fact Checkers were amazed at the number of outright LIES he told. Obviously the most telling event of this campaign came with the Mother Jones release of Romney's now famous 47% speech at a fundraiser. For the first time in the campaign America saw the REAL Mitt Romney and his disdain for those not among the 1%. The real test will be election day when America learns how many of that 47% actually votes for the guy who promises to step all over them and steal their life savings to support the 1%.

    Yeah, right...

Let's consider all the blockage/mud thrown by the right as proof Obama isn't doing anything good...
-Even though he's about at Clinton end of 1st term...

Then use it to elect a guy who's a big part of America's PROBLEMS...

This election is indeed the big choice – whether we want America to be the home of the brave and the land of the free – or a nation in decline, a failed socialist experiment where big government is pervasive and intrusive into all aspects of our lives while defenseless and open to foreign invaders.... Ba-rack wants to see America defeated and brought down to the level of third world nations, plain and simple. Mr Romney wants us to take America back and work togetrher to restore The American Dream...

President Obama DID NOT apologize for America. And romney and ryan should apologize for their own behavior. But it's nice to see they cam FINALLY let the country know what they're planning to do, it's a nice change after months of 'We'll get back to you.' But their list of what they will isn't quite matched by what they have done in the past. Sounds to me like thay just got themselves some new advisors to tell what they think the voters want to hear. If you want to know what they WILL do (as opposed to what they SAY), look at what they have done in the past..it's a much truer test.

Oh GOP so you've still not realised that the American people are not buying this crap anymore? Keep on lying. We are wise now. We are not going back to George Bush era. Come up with something new because these lies are not resonating anymore except to your uneducated fox news audience.

Yeah. I'll take the blue pill. Picking the red pill with Romney will lead to a horrific dystopia of wealthy elite feeding off the middle class and the poor.
