Supreme Court possibilities if Obama is reelected

Washington (CNN) - Here is an unofficial list of potential nominees for the Supreme Court if President Barack Obama is reelected. This list was compiled from a number of legal and political sources, including government officials deeply involved in the selections of Justices Sonia Sotomayor (2009) and Elena Kagan (2010).

The Obama administration, like those before, keeps an informal list of possible high court nominees to consider in the event of a sudden vacancy. But serious vetting only begins when such a vacancy occurs or is announced in advance by the retiring justice.

Just one of the reason I'm voting for Obama. No more "Citizen's United" BS for me. Our Supremes sold out to the highest biddesr and we need to rectify that mistake.

These articles are like saying "Which Supreme Court Justice is most likely to die next?". They are really tacky. Why not just outline all their disabilities and critique their medical problems?

If Obama wins re-election, watch out for the nomination of crony buddies like Van Jones and Bill Ayres to the Supreme Court.

Perhaps the only good thing about Obama winning an election is a possible shift in the supreme court so that maybe they would put an end to oppressive, unconstitutional laws that ban gay marriage. Certainly Obama isn't going to risk his ambition to take on civil rights.

While it is nice to ponder Mr. Obama's possible picks for possible future SC nominations, I think it advisable to note that unless the American voting public ALSO gives Mr. Obama a Senatorial majority (now 60+) because of Mr. McConnell's foot-dragging, that the fantasy is a mute point.

vital that President Obama is reelected. We need to once again balance the court and move it back from the far right. Must rid ourselves of the super pacs if we want to have balanced elections once again.

Suppose you worked hard all of your life, paid your taxes, did not go on welfare or other Obama gimmees and managed to put aside some money in a 401K to help with retirement, (I realize most of the readers are democrat liberals and would not have this experience) then just as you are ready to start taking it out, you find out that the capital gains taxes will increase 53% on it when you do and then you find out it is the Obozocare tax. Then you look at all of the other taxes that you will be hit with once the corrupt unions, welfare frauds and dope smokers put this corrupt, inept, incompetent liar back in the WH. I am mad.

The possibilities are that the Democratic Party will take over the country, and establish a socialist dictatorship, in less than 4 yrs.

This will happen, because the media, is being controlled by the Democratic Party, and the people will not even know the danger facing them, until it is too late.

Lets talk about the defense of the First Amendment.
The press’s job is to protect our liberty and freedom from the government and from organized governmental power. But 60% of Americans, according to the latest polls, believe that most journalists here deserted those ramparts and decide that they will now become active participants in organized governmental power, that their job is to tell you what truth that you may know, and what truth you are not allowed to know, They have then, by default, made themselves a fundamental threat to our democracy and way of life. Wake up CNN, your turst factor is WAY low..
