Live blog: First presidential debate

(CNN) - President Barack Obama and GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney go head to head for the first time Wednesday night, taking the stage in Denver for this cycle's inaugural presidential debate. After spending days in preparation and raising expectations for their respective opponent, both candidates will have the chance to make their case with a little more than one month before Election Day.

    US economy is doing more better than b/4.... Republicans find it hard 2 accept that US is doing better... very soon there will be revolution in IRAN....thanks 2 the US govt. and other sanctions, FOX NEWS and its jobless workers r just there criticizing the president...well thats the only thing they know.....     Romneys gonna try to get his digs in and his advisors told him to watch out.Romney will be limiting his lies tonight because he doesn't want to look ignorent in front of his lord and everybody,he could lose it all on a poor performance tonight but he's arrogent so he'll try those zingers.Someone as boring as Romney shouldn't even try doing,it could be his political undoing,nice show enjoy!!

    this will be the debate of a life time. i am tuning in for the journey of the country and the need of obama care. the economy is what it is . can' t blame the presidnet. this was given to him by bush and he is here to clean up his mess. romney don't know what he is facing so lets all just stay quiet and see how this pony ride. lol

    It is great that this is a live presentation. This way Fox News can't distort what Obama says and NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, CNN and the NY Times and the Washington Post can't distort what Romney says. Let's all listen with our own ears and make our own judgments. Enjoy the show!
