The President has my vote in this debate and at the ballot box! This is a clear contest between those that have a lot and the rest of us. It was packaged very prettily tonight, but that is still the truth! Come on, America, wake up!

How can some of you not see Obama's strategy? Obama played Romney like a fiddle. Romney stepped right into Obama's game with his eyes wide open. Romney will now have to provide the HARD EVIDENCE required to truly defend everything he proclaimed tonight. Obama maintained control and is working his plan. Obama's strategy is risky, but on point.

Too much attention on style and form here to assess who won, bottom line is that when republicans become president they go back to their old ways: deregulate, give the rich what they want, you are on your own, screw the environment, corporations are people, etc, etc.........Obama did a lousy job and Romney was smart and took advantage of the moment but the bottom line is can you trust the guy?....of course not.

Milt Romney was articulate, specific and knew what he was talking about.
He has business experience, government experience and has had a job, unlike OBAMA.

Clear victory for ROMNEY – THE RIGHT MAN...

Uh, um, ah, um, uh, ah....Life's hard without a teleprompter. Romney mopped the floor with Obama tonight. All Obama talked about what he is going to do. Why hasn't he done it already? He had a super majority for two years. TWO YEARS!!! Go see 2016 Obama's America, a must see before you vote.

    October 3, 2012 11:38 pm at 11:38 pm |

Obama doesn't know what he's doing... he doesn't know how to get along with other people because he thinks he is the center of the world.

Some people who post here are paid democrats .Next time just hope your candidate is prepared in the next debate with his army of advisers.
4 years is enough .Let's save this country from wrong direction with Obama .Let's give Romney a chance,he will be a great president.

I love all the Romney bashers, people who have already made up their minds based off of partisan talking points, and went into the debate with closed ears. "Liar", "promise the moon but can't deliver"... sound like anyone you might know from the past four years? Let me refresh your memories: close gitmo, withdraw from Afghanistan within 2 years, reach across the aisle, half the debt erased, unemployment down. Now I ask you: who's the liar and makes promises that they can't deliver.

Floridian - Three undecided votes at our house confirmed for Obama tonight. We are middle class Americans who don't think Romney has a clue about what it's like to struggle through tough financial times. Obama gets it!
Because he knows what he's doing and has always been successful. That is the type of person you want on the bridge of the ship that is the USA. If you are looking for 4 more years of a President that not only feels your pain, but causes most of it, then Obama is your man. I just hope you and the other 3 can survive another 4 years if Obama gets re-elected. If you thought the last 4 years was painful, 4 more years of Obama will be far more painful.

Game On! Round One Playoffs! The one with the best strategy is going to win! It's like this; Obama has been coaching for 4 years and is expected to unleash his wrath and gift for gab, he did not deliver. Romney is the new guy on the field that has been planning his attack methods and did a quarterback sneak on the Old Pro! We just witnessed strategy at its finest! But will it hold out for the next 2 Rounds, Thats the question and the answer will be in who reads their playbook best!!!!

I would'nt vote neither one of these guys. It's pretty sad you got two men that are running for a leadership roles saying what we need to do, but won't tell the truth! Bout nothing! What happened to a man keeping his word. One last question. Who is in control? Money or God! It's realy doesn't matter who win as long as we get money. Correct? No not correct. Will 4more years kill us? No! Nor will Romney! Job equals dollars so realy we vote for money! The funny things is we cant take it with us. well why let it determine your vote.

Tick, Tick, Tick. That's Romney cleaning Obama's Clock! You need to get rid of X- Con Jones ,Who cares what he thinks? It is obvious that Romney is a business man who can fix Obama's failed policies! Axelrod talks down to women commentators! Obama is excellent speech giver but he is not a good leader, and he has plummeted this country into turmoil! You can' have a pop upscreen in a debate!

In my heart the president did a great job taking his time to express his views by answering the questions completely and directly. However, many people felt that he lack fire or compassion. No, he did the right thing by being cool and collective, taking his time to answer precisely, unlike Romney who bullied his way through the entire debate lacking specifics. So, if being a bully is something that wins a debate, then God help us if he becomes President because he'll be even more eager to caused another war...

Romney said it best. To Obama: "You don't just pick the winners and losers, You (Obama) picked the losers." If Obama gets re-elected we all lose. Our children can't afford it.

Obama looked lost at times and extremely uncomfortable without his TelePrompter tonight. Romney missed a huge chance to tear Obama up on his complete and utter lack of business experience and foreign relations. That is why the economy and our image in the world are both in the toilet – because Obama has no idea what he is doing when is comes to business, trade, and dealing with other nations.. Barack Obama is an absolute clown and embarrassment to the USA.

Think about it... if you inherit something you didn't ask for it / it was given to you. Obama needs to stop saying he inherited the presidency. If he can't handle it get out, Abe Lincoln inherited a country at civil war and never whined about what he had to do... he stood up and did it. That's what a leader does.

I am soo tired of the double standards, Romney "dominated" the debate. If President Obama was a bully like Romeny was during the debate tonight, despite his record he would be "an angry black man".

Obama's hubris is beyond belief when he says to the American people that he likes the sound of "Obamacare". Maybe he can go on The View tomorrow and "YUK" up Obamacare with the ladies while some American diplomat somewhere gets murdered. Then he says the auto industry has "come roaring back." I can't decide if that was the Chevy Volt or the Tesla he's talking about. Maybe the jobs he said he created were at Solyndra. A joke like his presidency.
