Obama: 'Real' Mitt Romney was missing from debate

Denver (CNN) - President Barack Obama fired back at Mitt Romney in his first post-debate stop in Denver Thursday, contrasting the Romney he saw at the debate with the Romney seen on the campaign trail over the last year.

"We had our first debate last night, and when I got onto the stage I met this very spirited fellow who claimed to be Mitt Romney," Obama told the crowd of roughly 12,300. "But it couldn't have been the real Mitt Romney."

(CNN) – Wednesday night's presidential debate in Denver featured in-depth sparring on taxes, Medicare and jobs, but one issue absent from the discussion was guns.

CNN Poll: Latinos show big support for Obama policy

(CNN) – President Barack Obama's decision to allow some young undocumented immigrants to defer deportation is very popular among Latinos, according to a CNN/ORC International poll released Thursday, pointing to one likely reason the president enjoys high support among the key voting demographic.

In the poll, 71% of Latinos said Obama's decision, which was announced in June and went into effect in August, is about right. Another 15% said it doesn't go far enough, and 13% said it goes too far.

(CNN) - The Oval Office sits empty while violence erupts in the Arab world in a new ad from the conservative group American Future Fund.

The ad cites reports that President Barack Obama has missed a significant number of his daily national security briefings.
