Ohio 'Walmart moms' a battleground within a battleground

Editor's note: The 2012 presidential race is CNN Chief National Correspondent John King's seventh campaign. King is traveling through battleground states, where the election will be decided, to find the voters who will determine whether President Barack Obama gets a second term or if the country needs the change in direction that Mitt Romney represents.

- The clock on the mantle has ticked past midnight, but Jessica Lundgren is studying - so she can't afford to think about sleep just yet.

"I'm a single mom to a 5-year-old girl who is fantastic," Lundgren told CNN this week. "I work full-time and go to school full-time. So my day usually starts around 4:45 a.m. and ends close to 1 a.m."

If you believe in freedom, why is abortion even an issue? If you don't want one, then don't have one. I'm a woman and I'm voting for our right to choose. I'm also voting to sustain programs like Planned Parenthood that help American women get birth control, cancer treatment, and other procedures that benefit our health. I'd much rather my tax dollars go to programs like this versus wars that we don't need to be involved in.

Invest in America! Vote for OBAMA '12

Romney faces a choice between appealing to his base or to swing voters who could still be swayed.

Romney will say and do anything to get elected . He will flip and flop with no accountability to stand on.

We live in a country it seams, where the older people have forgot about GW Bush and the Younger voters don't remember.

Fool me once sham on you , fool me twice shame on whatever !

Unbelievable! A lot of people were very offended by "47% remarks" including myself. It was a pity that Pres. Obama didn't bring up this big heavy ammunition during the past debate. Nevertheless, it is not too late yet. Uncle Joe is coming tomorrow and we will be back again to square one with this man (Romney), who is not in touch at all with the sufferers.

    @ Thomas
Of course Romney will say and do anything to get elected. That seems to be one of the few things him and President Obama have in common. Of course, they're just politicians, and they will do whatever they need to do, in order to get the most votes. It reminds me a lot of being back in junior high school when kids were trying to be elected for class president; promising everything under the sun if they get elected and seeing very little (or none) of those promises kept.

Obama = Bush Era Part II

    Continued bailouts like Bush
    Kept Gitmo open
Did nothing to provide equal rights to the LGBT community
    Kept troops in Afghanistan
    Continued to divide the nation

The White House has proven it's not a woman"s best friend but paying them less than their counterparts.

I will never forget the 47% comment, The Planned Parenthood Comment, no one has asked to see my birth certicate and the other comments Romney made to get the nomination. A zebra doesn't change their stripes they just wallow in the mud. I will be the first in line next week with other retired people when early voting starts to vote for Obama/Biden 2012 as well as other Democrats. And yes I pay federal taxes, state taxes and local taxes.

After 4 years of our nation suffering under the Obama regime which also takes away our 10th amendment rights. I'm going for Romney. I've had enough

Wonmen are not only key to Romney the Puppet Liar, but to all Republicans trying to get re-elected this November. If your representative in D.C. believe that women have no brains and can't make their own decisions about their healthcare, you better vote them out. Remember, men do not have control over women's bodies, but they want you to believe that they do.

  10. 'Blame it on THEM'

The media and its Pundits as well as team-Obama would like to blame Pres Obama's poor round-one Performance on
"THEM" like...Jim Lehrer who did a lousy job-lost control....Gov Romney over-performed and the Romney who the Obama-campaign so desperately tried to define throughout did not show-up..."How dare this other Romney flip-flop on the Team-Obama"...?....".Really"....all these groups failed to notice that Romney right before our eyes kept evolving and unfolding as we have noticed for some time since we started to follow Gov Romney in the Primaries and now on the
Presidential-campaign Trail...namely that Gov Romney seems to constantly adjust to formualte his Principles and Policies in a systematic way to conform to what he hears on the Campaign-Trail...He is flexible and senitive to what the American-
People expect of the next President as well as to what Small & Large Business needs to grow the Economy...We also saw that he seeks advice from Financal..Health..Defence Institutuons....But most of all what Gov Romney stated in Round-one that as President he will engage, meet and work with both Parties in Washington to get the job done...As for the
outcry asking for more details....we are now sure that before the Nov 6/2012 Election the Romney/Ryan Campaign will reveal all the Details how they will get the Country from NOW to THERE.....

Romney meant what he said about 47% of Americans are victims because they don't makeup his circle, they're the ones he fired when he was CEO of Bain. How much clearer could he have gotten, he meant it people and there is no other way to spin it.

Politics has turned into a video game for adults where blowing up objects is replaced by half truths and lies. The 47% comment by Romney was very clear that people who receive assistance from the government are not viewed as responsible people by the audience he was in. Look at what happen in the textile industry that is almost non-existent in the USA. A lot of people devoted themselves to developing a craft to produce goods right here in the USA. Was it their fault that company management left for greener pastures overseas.
Government role should be limited for business, but no control over business has given us greedy companies that only answer to the investors for profit. Look at the banks, Wall Street, etc.

Romney is both a chicken-hawk and a draft-dodger. Flip-flop. He was strongly pro-choice when it helped get votes now he's pro-life. Flip-flop. He invented Obamacare but now he opposes it. Flip-flop. He didn't have time to worry about the 47% but now he cares about them. Flip-flop. He promises 5 trillion dollars in cuts w/o a tax increase for the wealthy but now he says that's on the table. Flip-flop. He said his Romneycare idea wouldn't cover people with pre-existing conditions but now it does. Flip-flop. He was 100% in support of the N.R.A. but now he "has differences" with their viewpoints. Flip-flop. He was for "self-deportation" but now supports a version of the Dream Act. Flip-flop. Still... his flip-flopping isn't his worst characteristic. He is a pathological liar – something constantly shown by the fact-checkers. He will say anything to get votes. Do Republicans have no problem with that level of dishonesty?

OHIO Moms vote for OBAMA! Romney does not care about you or your kids or our future. How can he? He has never been without or struggled or has he ever wringed his hands in despair how to pay the bills.

Don't worry, I'm sure Willard will come up with some fantastic lie and the women will come running. Most don't even realize Willard and Queen Ann think they have this in the bag. If you get a bump in the polls due to lying through your teeth, I expect more of the same in the coming weeks. The saddest thing of all is Americans being stupid enough to believe the very same people that put us in this predicament.

My best friends mother called this election 4 years ago. She said Bush brought us to the edge of the cliff where we were teetering, enter Obama. We blacks have been known to persevere through hardships and he is no different. He fought to get us on the right path and as soon as he did, enter another white president to take the credit for it. Also once the new white president takes over and takes us back to the cliff, all the blame can go on the black man.

    OBAMA 2012!

@Borderless – Got us out of Iraq, with less costs and a better result, got rid of Osama Bin Laden, has shifted from a ground war to a drone war for Al Queda's top dogs... and still spent less than Bush did!

There you go. Fixed it for you. Also fixed the grammar and spelling errors.

Obama did not grow up impoverished and he in fact had a pretty exciting life.

You people think Romney will say anything? Obama promised EVERYTHING in 2008 and has delivered nothing but advancements towards a socialist agenda. Upset about the 47% comment? Why, because you are one of them? You should be upset because your one of them! America was built on self reliance and perseverance not government handouts. I'm screenshoting this entry to send to Foxnews so I can prove I posted it when the CNN police deletes it.

Walmart is going to have lots of EMPTY SHELVES if mitts gets elected and starts a trade war with China.

Nothing wrong with putting pressure on their cheating ways, but it is a fact that Americans do not want to work for the wages a Chinese worker accepts, and therefore, goods from China will be cheaper.
