(CNN) - A single shot was fired Friday at an Obama campaign office in Denver, Colorado, a police spokeswoman said.
The shot resulted in no injuries, although people were in the building at the time, Denver police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez told CNN.

Police did not have a description of a suspect but did have a possible vehicle of interest, Lopez said.
A glass window was shattered, images of the scene showed.
Lopez said the Secret Service, which protects President Obama, was not involved in the investigation Friday, although the agency’s involvement would depend on what Denver police find.
Obama's re-election campaign had no comment and referred questions to Denver police.
Obama was in Washington on Friday.

A white Republican male did it, I bet you.
A drive by shooting , whats next bombs ?
Wow. That is horrible. If you do not like Obama, just do not vote for him. Do not put other people in harm's way.
Please leave obama alone
So someone is trying to kill the President ?
What is this world coming to? You're going to endanger innocent lives just because you dislike Obama? This is so senseless. Each day I read news stories that make me lose more and more faith in humanity.
Thy will do anything.....but Obama is our president.... We're the 47%
I wouldnt be surprised if this was an Obama supporter trying to catch sympathy
This is how the Tea Party votes.
He should get the hint -NOBODY LIKES HIM
I guess this is the start of the civil war promised by the sheriff in Lubbock . . .
I wish it was a Romney office!
Tobad it wasn't a Romney office!
Maybe David Axlerod? It was the turning point for Obama's campaign.
The Tea Party votes Nay!
I guess this is what Republicans call patriotism.
Ok, where was Ted Nugent when this occurred?
The volunteers in this office are all under 25 or over 65. Your children, parents and grandparents, America. If you don't condemn gun violence, you condone it.
Who ever did that shows a total lack of respect for our political system and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I would say the same if someone fired at a Romney office.
what in the hell is this country coming to
What I like about this president is that he can seek and destroy those who do this
palin is smiling.... dont retreat reload!
Oooops she misspoke
Republicans will deny any responsibility for this act. Yet they do not disavow the bumper stickers that say "Don't re-Nig". Tea patrtiers have come to Republican rallies carrying weapons. At the Republican Convention a black news staffer had peanuts thrown at her while the perpetrators said "This is how we feed the animals". Ryan beleves in arming children.
Like I said Republicans will claim no responsibility. But perhaps if they had said "No" at least once to stop some of these type things, there might not be the fear of being shot for people who are working for their candidate.
Just more 'second amendment remedies' brought to you by an ever increasingly extreme right wing.
