What would you do if the opponent is lying? Look down and write. Look forward with straight face. Chuckle it off.

Some say it's indicative of his lack of Racist Joe's intelligence and the resulting awkwardness he feels when he can't keep up with a discussion. Others say he's just an obnoxious jerk. Odds are they're both a little right.

Too much drama. Acted like a clown at times and then the yelling like he was angry and frustrated. He did not inspire confidence. This guy is one heartbeat away from the Oval Office for almost 3 more months?!?! Yikes! I used to think the national debt was our greatest threat...

This focus on Biden laughter is just a distraction from the fact he challenged Paul Ryan on the Romney tax plan so decisively. Here is the FACTS. If you cut the tax Rate of everyone by 20% everyone at least agrees that it will cost $5 trillion dollars over 10 years. Just about everyone agrees there are not enough deductions to make up the entire $5 trillion. So, lets say for the sake of argument he CAN make up the rest or get very close. HERE IS THE OTHER PROBLEM !! Where do you get the extra TRILLION dollars to increase the size of our military??? This just seems to be overlooked in relationship to this budget issue. To do this and not raise tax revenue means the deficit will have to be increased.
This is impossible mathematically..and Mitt Romney knows it !!! He is alot of things but he is not a dummy! He just thinks certain people on the right wing of the Republican will vote for him because he wants to increase the size of a military that is more than large enough to protect this nation.

Biden's entire purpose, was to disrupt Ryan's answers so people couldn't hear them.

It was a dirty tactic, unbecoming any government official, at any level of government.

Biden's own answers were totally filled with lies and deceit, about everything. I don't think he even knows what the truth really is.

The fact is Ryan sent Biden a letter asking for stimulus money !
But Ryan is against stimulus !

Ryan was very proud of Biben's son's military service record . Yet Ryan didn't mention Romney's five sons who avoided volintary military service.

These debates have become as bad as reality television !

Mr. Biden's laughter is no worse than the half smile Mr. Ryan had on his face. Most parents who have children in their 20's. 30's. and maybe even 40's have seen that smile when their children want them to believe they are listening to them. Of course they later come back and realize that their parents really do know something.

Debates are getting to be shows. The candidates memorize and memorize facts and numbers. They even have little parts of the answers memorized. Depending on the moderator they will either be times and kept on track or they will be over to mow over the moderator. Certainly debates have their place but the ones we are seeing now do not. There are no ground rules. There are time limits sometimes and sometimes not. They are not consistent. Fix the problems before we have to go through this nonsense again.

Bidens laughter kept him from calling something out publicly that everyone had on their lips,LIAR!!Biden did the initial damage, republicans know because of the fact checkers saying over 90% of Ryans statements were false and others hadn't enough details, specifics to make the statement legit, plain and simple he lied!!Republicans ,the gigs up!!

Conservatives and people blind to the truth will cry foul but I for sure was laughing along with Biden. Every time Ryan tried to state his case I found his delivery was robotic and lacked substance....very well scripted from his handlers. If I was in Biden's shoes they would have to censor me bc I would have called Ryan out on his BS. Biden took the high road.

There is no hidin' from Biden.

It's a dumb thing to question the VP laughter. I have watched the vice president for ages, and he is the same. He has always delivered his jabs with laughter and taking it with laughter. GOP should get a life. We did not whine when Romney commandeered the debate, insulting the president and moderator. It's silly and childish.

Nobody is differing on Biden's laughter. He was rude, condescending, arrogant, bizarre and irritating. I don't think many people who are not irrational Democratic zombies would disagree with that! Imbecils on crack act more sane than this man did last night.

Joe Biden gave Paul Ryan the beating of his faux career in front of 50+ million people and his mother, without even breaking a sweat; and judging by Limbouch and the other flunkies, they are CRYING like babies to do damage control. It was so bad at one point, I thought Ryan would lose control of his bodily functions right in that glass of water. As for Biden's laugh, he has EVERY RIGHT to laugh when and where he wants, and to all those who don't like it, you can always vote for the outsourcing tax devil who is profitting right now while the people in Freeport, IL go to the unemployment lines. Anyway, good luck with your new found poverty master.
Meanwhile, I'll be helping the president to another victory.

Biden's teethy grins and laughing was creepier than Romney's. It looked like he was stoned.

Mr. Biden's frequent outbursts of laughter seemed to indicate that he had no respect for his contender and also for the subject matter under discussion. His tendency to call Mr. Ryan "you guys" is also an indication of disrespect and unbecoming of a vice-president
