Crossroads spends another $11 million to air ad in battlegrounds

(CNN) – American Crossroads, the major conservative super PAC co-founded by Karl Rove, said Tuesday it was spending another $11 million to air a spot critical of President Barack Obama in key battleground states.

The ad, which features a woman at her kitchen table directing questions to Obama, will run in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Nevada, Ohio and Virginia. It will also air on stations airing Big 10 and SEC college football games.

Watch CNN's coverage of Tuesday's presidential debate starting at 7 p.m. ET on CNN TV, CNN.com and via CNN's apps for iPhone, iPad and Android. The ad buy Tuesday comes after another $11 million buy from Crossroads, announced last week, which ran in the same eight battleground states. That spot hit Obama for his record on jobs.

The commercial released Tuesday begins with a woman watching an Obama ad on television, before turning to the camera and saying: "Mr. President, here's what I want to know: where are the jobs you promised? The trillions you spent – where did it all go? What's there to show for all of that new debt? And if we're in a recovery, why are we making less?"

"My family can't afford another four years like this," she concludes.

In a statement, Crossroads' president and CEO wrote, "President Obama's economic policies created record trillions of new debt, the weakest recovery in modern history, and gave Americans very little to show for it."

Obama doesn't connect with women on jobs? Really? You might want to check on what piece of legislation was the first one Obama signed. Here's a hint: It had to do with women getting equal pay for equal work. When asked if he would have signed that legislation, Romney just curled up in a little ball and started sucking his thumb. And you think Romney has your back?

" just think of where all that WASTED money could go to help the unemployment rate in this country."

Have the Democrats used any of their money to help the unemployment rate in this country? Of course not. That should be your first clue that neither party cares about us middle-class Americans.

Timbers plan is all smoke and screen. Sure, he's going to cut taxes and created 12 million job and a GDP growth of 4 percent. Yeah right, Romney is a real genius for coming up with such a bold plan. Do you not think The President is surrounded by very smart economist that would tell him that's the way to go? . It won't work, taxes is not the only thing that ails the economy, people aren't spending! They have no money to sound because they are saddled with too much consumer debt, that's to the mess that Bush left us in. Time and good long term policies . Such has investment in education and infracsture will move us forward. Mitt Romney has no credibility. He is nought and paid for by big businesses and he will answer to them if he makes it to the white house. Remember he has already left us a warning. He Says, he does not care about 47 percent of Americans as they are basically freeloaders. This is the only thing that has come out of his month that a believe. Take time to know the facts people before casting your vote.

These questions the woman in the ad is asking should be directed to the Republicans in Congress. The House blocked most bills put forward to them, and the Senate fillibustered everything. They wanted the economy to fail so they could blame Obama and they'd have a shot at winning in 2012. Looks like their plan is working.

The American people will not allow this election sold to the likes of Rove and his cronies! Yes, the Rs gave us the worst 8 years, left us with debt and now expect us to crawl out of their mess in 4 years???? Give me a break! We ARE making progress with President Obama's policies! Obama/Biden 2012....and I suggest American Crossroads save their money and help the %47 that Robme doesn't care about!

"What's there to show for all of that new debt?"

    1. The Bush tax cuts and the revenue sinkhole they created.
    2. Medicare Part D prescription drug plan that the GOP/Bush enacted.
    3. Two wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
    4. Deregulation of Wall Street and lax oversight that led to the credit default swap gambling games with mortgage backed securities that caused the recession and the massive job losses (and attendant revenue losses) prior to Obama taking office AND which continued during his first year in office until he was able to slow it down, stop it and reverse it, which he DID do.
    5. TARP, enacted under BUSH, which gave the banking industry $700B to thank them for collapsing the economy.

THAT is majority, BY FAR, of what we "bought" with the additional debt over the past 4 years. THE NUMBERS DON'T LIE. Stop carrying the GOP/Teatrolls' water, CNN, and educate the public on where the debt accumulated over the past 4 years ACTUALLY comes from. Their accusation that Obama's policies are solely responsible for the additional $6T in debt IS A LIE.
