(CNN) - President Barack Obama and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney battle it out for the second time when they take the debate stage Tuesday at Hofstra University in New York.
Moderated by CNN Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley, the event marks the second of three debates between the two candidates before Election Day.

Time to wind down amateur hour. Four years of gross incompetence. He had a fair shot at turning things around. The country cannot afford a vast social experiment that conflicts with the values of the founding fathers and flies in the face of responsible government and good economic management.
Mitt Romney keeps saying hes not woried about the poor. Only the middle and upper classes. I would like to know who he considers the middle class to be. Exactle what income levels are the middle class to him??

President Obama needs to be more lively tonight and Romney should be less evasive in answering questions tonight.
Will Romney give us anything tonight and will Obama tell us how he will speed things up that's the real question
Please ask Mitt Romney and President Obama what changes to the Medicare either would do to improve it, or would one or the other destroy the system we have in place now. Most Seniors are worried that either party will wipe out the health system and The Medicare system just by talking about it in any debate.
Why are we taking so long to get veterans claims aproved in the system?
I am surprised on so many levels that Cnn's female panelists are using their airtime to discuss and criticize Ann and Michelle's pink outfits. Do they not realize it is breast cancer awareness month?
I'd like to hear the question asked of Romney if he supports the limitation of early voting in Ohio. Granted that doesn't affect the NY residents that are asking the questions, but it would be relevant.
If we do not shore up our Defense contractors with more contracts while our military is going down in size where will our strength to resist come from?

Mitt Romney's plans do not mesh with reality. It is not his style to meet with folks to work out solutions. Those in MA and those at Bain seem to disagree.
His idea of the middle class would be folks who make $200,000 to $250,000. I wonder how many people he knows who fit into that category. Certainly not many people I know who consider themselves to be middle class. I think his sons make more than that (Wonder if they had help from Dad?) so they are nearer to the 1%.
It appears that the people at the top will do well. The rest of us will either watch programs and assistance go away or we will be funding help to those who have lost their assistance. Don't think we will get much help from a Romney administration. He probably does not know people in 47% and so he does not feel any remorse for talking about them the way he did.
We need to hear him say he will support women in the USA to retain their reproductive rights. It should be a women's right to choose.
We also need him to say he will let pass decisions about gay and lesbians. He cannot bring his religious beliefs to the table any more than Mr. Obama could or the members of Congress should.
How are you going to create jobs Mitt? You didn't answer the question. Again. And stop using the word crushed: you don't know what the word means.

Does anyone know why he can't actually answer the question? It was like this in the first debate too.
