(CNN) - President Barack Obama and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney battle it out for the second time when they take the debate stage Tuesday at Hofstra University in New York.
Moderated by CNN Chief Political Correspondent Candy Crowley, the event marks the second of three debates between the two candidates before Election Day.

I find it hard to vote for someone like Gov. Romney who can't make up his mind and sticking to it. He changes his views on everything depending on the audience he is addressing . Can you imaging if he should become president ? SCARY !
There is no one in this country who has more experience in solving tough economic problems than Governor Mitt Romney. He has worked both in the private and public areas and solved the huge mess he inherited on the 2002 Olympics. It went from a scandal ridden possible failure for the US; to the most profitable Winter Olympics ever – the facilities built for the 2002 Olympics are still up and functioning – their upkeep being paid for by the profit from the Olympics. I'm proud to be a Utahn and have seen the good Governor Romney in charge can produce.

Oh, he was wrong about the 47% he said so last week. It's really like 55%. The main part of the deficit is due to the funding of two wars. The deficit would have been a lot larger during BUSH if we had done that.
Reducing the national debt needs to be balanced with the need to drive the economy, job creation etc.. In the UK the 'age of austerity' is designed to reduce the national debt, yet it looks to be failing. Voters are starting to think that the policy is not working. We are seeing multi-national corporations practice aggressive tax avoidance and pay next to nothing in tax, the wealthiest are getting wealthier while the poorest and the middle class are getting poorer. I think Mitt's "balancing the budget" actually means the same for the US.
