(CNN) – Hours before his second matchup with Mitt Romney, President Barack Obama told reporters his spirits were high going into Tuesday's town hall-style presidential debate.
"I feel fabulous," Obama said as he strolled through the Kingsmill resort in Williamsburg, Virginia, where he has spent the last three days preparing for Tuesday's debate. The president was walking alongside David Plouffe, a White House adviser, and Anita Dunn, his former communications chief who is playing CNN chief political correspondent Candy Crowley, the debate's moderator, in the president's practice sessions.

"Look at this beautiful day," he continued, before telling the reporters, "I hope you enjoy the weather."
On Monday, the president's campaign released a photo of first lady Michelle Obama holding up an Illinois absentee ballot. Asked by reporters if he knew his wife voted for him, Obama smiled and said, "Thank goodness."
He did not respond to a question about Secretary of State Hillary Clinton taking responsibility in a CNN interview for the safety of American diplomats following the deadly attack in Benghazi, Libya that killed the American ambassador.

No wolfpackbob........you're wrong. Obama didn't build our economy.......but he is doing his best to repair the damage caused by "trickle down".........which Mitt and the Kock brothers want to bring back for round two. Unless you walk in those same "1%" circles, you'll be voting against your own best interests if you support Romney.
I can honestly say I have never heard a straight man refer to himself as "fabulous". I'm just saying.
It's amazing to watch the death throes of the liberals.
I hate to say this but Obama will need a come back on the scale like Peyton Manning last night vs the Chargers.
Romneys faith allows him to lie for power but I don't think it is going to go over well right in front of real live people, watch for Mitts permagrin to twitch. There is one sure way to tell when Mitts is lying..........when his mouth is open
What's the difference in him using the word "fabulous" and Romney using the word "marvelous" when asked about Ryan's budget plan? "Real" men rarely use either word........just saying. So what's your point?
Didn't Obama criticize Romney a few months ago for saying fabulous?
Notasdumasu, I have never heard anyone refer to himself as a severe conservative. Of course, that was back in February. Romney is now a moderate. Romney will be the last severe conservative in the history of mankind.
Who is Obama trying to convince?
Rethuglicans loot and cheated this nation for generations. These GOP animals wars made this nation BANKRUPT. Learn this TRUTH. This nation needs EDUCATION–NOT TAX-CHEATS LIKE MITT ROMNEY AND BAIN-CAPITAL.
freddiebrown- 100% CORRECT. Obama is hoping that Hillary throwing herself under the bus will take the heat off of him and his obvious coverup of the travesty in Benghazi. He didn't expect the media would ever have to get involved and would buy their "movie" explanation.
Obama will NOT be the President this November,He is NOT a Good President and ROMENY knows how to fix this mess.
Lets hear it for 8 YEARS of Romney!
