Women are back on the job

New York (CNNMoney) - Women are finding their way back into the workforce.

The economic upswing had until recently been a "hecovery," but the revival is now becoming more balanced between the genders. The number of women employees has jumped by 300,000 in the past six months, nearly the same amount as men. And in September, men and women each saw a job gain of 57,000.

Maybe Romney will use this graph the next he blasts the president about women and jobs. Incidentally, Nate SIlver now has Romney with only a 29.6% chance of winning the general. Goodbye Mittens.

Wonderful News !!! Now lets not forget which party signed pledges, blocked job bills, obstructed the countries progress, vowed to crush Obama, and don't believe in our equal rights. When a party will put it's citizens and it's country at risk to win the game, they can't be rewarded for it.

Good for Women, but you know what? Romney will cry foul play, Jack Welch will cry manipulation !!!

Let the MIDDLE CLASS reign, Let the WOMEN be women themselves.

Men, take my advice, step back, step way back, Women will answer Tech Romney's swing. DON'T YOU EVER DOUBT IT. This is 2012 not 1812.

This woman is doing just fine. So well, in fact I'm going to open my first small business but this is pending the outcome of the election, which might make a difference.

What is very disconcerning is the President is often attack on things that he is doing good at and his campaign isnt knowledgeable about the facts. Why didnt the President correct Romney at the debate about women data job growth? Instead he allows his adversaries pound him on things that can be easily debunked. He is allowing the other side to paint a negative picture of lies without correcting them. This is building a false perception. He needs to know his own facts.

There is no such thing as a "recovery". For that to be true, the jobs becoming available, would have to be of the same quality, and salary range of the jobs that have been lost.........and that simply is NOT the case.

Most people who are finding jobs, are taking jobs well below those they LOST!

Women are back on the job because the jobs are available after their husbands have been laid off. The women are hired at a lower wage. Also, many, if not most, of these jobs are part time and minimum wage. If you like this way of creating jobs, then vote for Obama...please. I'm actually looking forward to the riots.

I want to ask this question mainly to women and what they teach their children. It has been proven on tv, videotapes, you can even go online and see exactly, precisely, what Mitt Romney has said about taxing the middle class, healthcare against women, getting rid of medicare, getting rid of social security, leaving healthcare including pre-existing conditions up to the insurance companies so they can drop you or charge you so high to where you will never be able to pay, not taxing the rich, but taxing the middle class, and the list goes on and on. What I am trying to say it that this is a proven fact that Mitt Romney only wants the wealthy to have all of the benefits and not the middle class and he only will work for and care for the top 1%............however, in the last two debates Romney has basically said that he has never said that, that he will not do that, etc., etc.,............he has been caught lie after lie. He is extremely a disrespectful bully to moderators and the President.. Yet, many of you that are middle class want to vote for him...........so is this what you want your children to be like.........do you want your children to lie and be disrespectful to people? It is now acceptable to run for president and lie before you get into office? The standards of Americans certainly have changed!!

This news comes out a few days before the election???? How convenient, just like the unemployment figure that suddenly dropped to 7.8% rate but oops a big state forgot to turn in their unemployment figures and now that the state turned them in unemployment is back up.

And how about yesterdays report on CNN that women's priority is Abortion and not jobs or the economy??? And this article is supposed to make those same women that are worried about abortion and not about getting a job happy?????

    Just another trick.

The whole "war-on-women" has been artifically created by the Democrats. Another divisive ploy by the Obama administration. He has never wanted to bring this country – or world together. He's all about dividing. Not healthy, not good – totally destructive. And the way Obama treats women in his cabinet is a disgrace! He sends them out to take the fall for him. He doesn't care about women – only his agenda.

  17. The REAL Truth...

@rosco – so after 4 years back to square one and this is good???
    ---------------------------------
This is actually VERY GOOD, but the right wing lemmings seemingly don't have the intelligence to grasp that fact. They look at absolutes and not cause/effect. Digest that slowly pls... you right wing nuts NEVER ASK WHY!

It's simple – 4 yrs ago (Jan 2009) the country was hemorrhaging 700,000 jobs a month. For those right wingers who haven't made it past 3rd grade math, that's 4 MILLION jobs in SIX months! That the Obama administration presided over stemming the tide, and turning it into POSITIVE numbers – despite ALL of Grand Obstructionist Party did to prevent it – is truly nothing less than a MAJOR SUCCESS!

Are we there yet Eddie? No! But changing the captain in the middle of the race is not a smart idea!

I love your GOP logic , What is with you Bush = Romney supporters . If you don't get your way you want to destroy it , I've never seen such jealousy and disrespect . Wars , Riots , discontent , thats all you people thrive on creating ..

I can only imagine what riots might have acured if Bush had been in office for three terms !

Romney is GW Bush , 80% of his advisers are worked for GW Bush .

The political game that the teapublicans have been playing since Obama was elected have ultimately hurt us as a country. What have they done to help? Do they have any responsiblity besides hoping we fail? I have never in all my 31 years seen such treason and I just don't understand it. I was born after the Civil Rights era and all the ugly in-your-face hatred. However, the last four years have shown me another side of America that breaks my heart. Where is the patriotism? When is the other side going to put the weapons down and help contribute to the solutions we need to continue to move forward in a positive direction?

Glad to see these numbers in print. I knew Romney was lying about the number of unemployed women anyway. True be told, if he had it his way, we'd all be home "cooking dinner".

One more thing, glad to see CNN moving away from the right and back to the middle again. Republicans made a huge mistake criticizing Candy Crawley over the debate. I'm guessing CNN will be saying "Forget You" to the extreme right wingers from here on out.

"Most people who are finding jobs, are taking jobs well below those they LOST!"

That's precisely what the GOP/Teatrolls' economic policies are designed to do by relying on bubbles and cyclical recessions...and why middle-class salaries have remained stagnant for 40 years. It's also why those middle-class salaries remained stagnant like that despite the wealtiest among us growing their share of the nation's wealth and income exponentially during the same time period.

Sometimes, you have to starve the doggy so it will truly appreciate the table scraps, right?
