Obama to pull 'all-nighter' for key battleground votes

(CNN) – President Barack Obama will embark on a whirlwind tour of battleground states Wednesday in Iowa before becoming the first sitting president in modern history to cast an early ballot in-person.

On the "non-stop" tour, Obama will rally supporters and volunteers in key swing states and try to appeal to undecided voters. The president will make phone calls to undecided voters while aboard Air Force One in between his tightly packed schedule of campaign stops.

Seeking to motivate his supporters to go to the polls, Obama will cast his ballot early in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois, on Thursday. First lady Michelle Obama submitted her absentee ballot on Monday in Illinois.

During the tour, the president plans to visit six of the nine battleground states, making stops
Wednesday in Denver, Colorado, and Las Vegas, Nevada, before heading to Tampa, Florida, and Richmond, Virginia, on Thursday. He will end the 48-hour tour in Cleveland, Ohio, on Thursday.

Recent polls in several battleground states underscore how tight the race is between Obama and his Republican challenger Mitt Romney.

"As for Obama’s doubling of vehicle mileage by 2025, led by his Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Transportation, it’s already driving more innovation in Detroit, as each car company figures out how it will improve mileage by 5 percent every year. The auto industry’s main newspaper, “Automotive News, used to be a sad collection of stories of failing dealerships and excess inventory,” notes Hal Harvey, the chief executive of Energy Innovation. “Now it is one technology story after another, all aimed at increasing fuel efficiency. Engines, transmissions, electrical systems, advanced materials are all in the midst of new revolutions. Finally the engineers are back at work!”"

Three new national polls today show voters still moving to Romney since the second debate.
NBC News/Wall Street J. shows a tie, previous poll showed Obama up +3.
Gallup shows Romney up +7, up +1 from second debate.
Rasmussen shows Romney up +2, up +1 from second debate.
Almost all the battle ground state polls since the second debate continue to move towards Romney.
New PPP Ohio pull increased it's plus Democrat advantage in its previous poll of Dem + 4 to Dem +8 in its new poll and still the results were a big move towards Romney. Previous PPP Dem +4 poll had Obama up +5, new Dem +8 poll shows Obama up just +1, movement of +4 toward Romney even with +4 added advantage of Dems in the poll.
Realclearpolitics site shows Romney up 206 to 201 over Obama in non toss up states electoral votes. When toss up states are assigned to whomever has a slim lead, it is Obama 277 Romney 261. Romney just needs either flip Ohio or Wisconsin to over take Obama and polls in both states are moving towards Romney.

Romney's supporters say that they won't be fooled by Obama again, yet they keep on getting fooled by Romney. Since when has Romney kept his words? Romney changes positions as often as people change clothes.

Too bad, Obama didn't pull all nighters, as President, to lead America, over the past 4 years !!!

Pulling an all nighter is not a wise or smart thing to do.If you don't know the facts and the material by now you are doomed for failure. Obama has a failing grade with the economy and jobs over the last four years. He has a failing grade with foreign policy with China, Russia, Iran,Israel, and now Libya. Pulling an all nighter won't get him a better grade than a D.

You people just use the 47% as a talking point. Does Obama care about anyone? Is that why his black community has an exponential rise in unemployment since 2009? Does he care about women with 500,000 women employed since 2009? What you fail to realize is you support a guy who cannot change the economy for the better. Without this change, NONE OF US MATTER!!!!! So keep whining about who cares for who as jobs and our money keep leaving the country. It is WE THE PEOPLE not WE THE GOVERNMENT!

When Obama was running in 2008, my younger son was not of age to vote yet. One day, he came into my bedroom and I was watching an Obama campaign rally, then they switched to McCain rally and he asked me this: "Mom, why do the people at Obama's campaign look so happy and the people at McCain's rally look so angry"? The same question still applies. Obama represents diversity, change and moving forward, while Willard represents a return of evil and imaginary superiority by a few who refuse to accept ALL people are created equal.

The choice is clear forward / Obama or backwards / Romney. Either way, be prepared to live with your decision.

Obama has failed. He has no record. Unemployment remains high, and the war still goes on in Afghanistan. 6 trillion has been added to the national debt. Obama takes responsibility for nothing. He is still blaming Bush. He lies. He ignores "Fast and Furious" and has lied about the murder of Ambassador Stevens in Benghazi, claiming it was the result of a video when, in fact, it was a well-planned act of terror. In no way has Obama merited reelection. The only "hope and change" now comes with getting this joker out of the White House.

I would like to know why before each debate, something negative seems to seep out about foreign affairs, that are mostly negative. The whitehouse is accused of information getting out. I feel this has everything to do with the Republicans in office. War seems to be the theme of Romney and all of his people. One day we may be drawn into a war that we may not be able to walk away from, even here in our United States. Why are we being made the Police for the world, even when our Country cannot afford it, or it is at the expense of our well being? I want peace for the world, for myself, children and grandchildren. Why can't young adults look forward to getting a good education, so that they can compete in this world, for the jobs that can make our Country successful, instead of having to worry about the next war we will be dragged into? I am sure Romney has enjoyed his family (Sons), and I am sure the rest of the Country would like to do so. Our sons and daughters want a future, not a future of fighting wars, that are really not our wars to fight. All the money that has been spent on wars, should have been used to improve ours schools, hire teachers, the best College professors, repair our very unstable infrastructure. Why do we go in destroy a country, and then have to rebuild it, when ours is falling apart? I pray for peace, so we do not continue to see our young men and women being brought home in CASKETS, and body bags. We cannot afford to instigate wars, with the world that find us to be bullies. Protect ourselves first, along with communication, not bullying, and maybe we can obtain some future respect, instead of rage and disgust from many in the World.

Go, Mr. President! Having lived in Massachusetts when Romney was governor here; I'm begging everyone in the swing states: Don't make the mistake we made! When Romney left office his approval rating was 35%; he's going to lose this state by well over 20 points–why? Because we KNOW him!!!
    Vote Obama/Biden 2012
Romney 1040–I believe that Romney won't release his tax returns because it turns out that he made over 15 million dollars from the auto bailout–he invested in a company that made steering wheels for GM, without those parts, GM could not be saved. The company held the feds up for $350 million for a company worth a fraction of that and then they turned around sold most of the companies, fired 25000 American workers, shipped their jobs overseas, stole their pensions from those workers and then did an ad campaign saying that it was Obama who insisted on cutting the pensions. The company was Delco. Google "Mitt Romney made $15 million from auto bailout" The man is a sleaze!!!

Mom3, I do hope you open your eyes and think back to the second debate, and see who really had nothing to say regarding women. What he voted for regarding women, what he will do for women and children, besides lead us to war. Am sure many of the people he laid off from his corporate take overs included many women also, probably some of the 47 percent, or the food stamp takers, but he is neither, because he has protected his money, by keeping it in other countries, or naming it "BLIND TRUST" which is what he also wants from us all. so your suffering is not his suffering or his families suffering. by the way where are his Tax Returns, that is also "BLIND TRUST". So get real, if you think you have had it bad, look at what the President was handed, and the back stabbing, under handed people he has had to world with. Sometimes, I do not understand why he wants to continue with a job, where no matter what you do that is good, it is bad, because you are Barack Obama, and have a HEART FOR THE PEOPLE, ALL PEOPLE.

To Jim, should we tell the world or our enemies where we keep our guns, weapons of mass destruction? do you know what most countries are doing or thinking, NOOOOOOOOO. ere in the United States we need to put everything on TV for the world to see. everything is there for the world to see. Osama was not captured by announcing it to the world, it was done with a plan, and secret discussion, as it should be. look where we were 4 years ago, and tell me President Obama has done nothing. he is not GOD, but a man, that is trying to move this Country along with much RESISTANCE, such as yours.

The Romney's will NEVER be considered anything but trash to me and I don't care how many photos they take or how the media tries to dress them up. These are the FACTS:

    1) Willard M. Romney ran to France during the Viet Nam war and wrote love letters to his wife, while he actively promoted the war; DISGUSTING.
    2) The Romney's have five ABLE bodied sons who have never enlisted in the military and have always taken from this country but never given anything; DISGUSTING.
    3) Taggless Romney sought to hit the POTUS (thug behavior); DISGUSTING.
    4) Ann Romney promotes taking away your healthcare while she continues to enjoy her benefits. DISGUSTING.
    5) A family who refuses to show you their tax returns; (YOUR job might have been lost due to their greed); DISGUSTING.
    6) Off shore bank accounts (which could help he U.S.), but they insist they CARE about the American people. DISGUSTING.

The truth is, the Romney's PREY off ignorant, racist, hateful people. This "type" only wants to see "white" back in the White House (poverty doesn't matter to them at all). The Romney's are the worst family of people to EVER run in my lifetime, and I find them ALL disgusting. I am praying to God that he humbles this unAmerican family, by having them give a concession speech to the 47%, in their LAST AND FINAL STAND for the White House. May they all be there to say four words: good-bye and farewell.

@Sabrina – you truly sound like someone who has drank too much of his kool-aid. Take a deep breath...lol about the second debate – Obama LOVED to interrupt Romney every time he had a point to make against Obama by saying "Candy ah time check here – just trying to make sure we get in as many of these good people's questions as possible"...you can't run from the plain and honest facts about Obama's record. Also as you know, Obama also has his money in a blind trust with stocks all over the world including China so enough of that. As for Romney and his money, Romney unselfishly gives HIS MONEY AND TIME to people in need – something Obama would never do unless a camera was in sight. Stop pretending Obama is the next messiah – it was a hoax...he is a fraud! He is directly responsible for the death of 4 Americans – the first ambassador murdered since Carter – and those aren't the only similarities between the 2 administrations. Talk about a liar – he can't lie his way out of this. I could go on and on and on all day but hopefully you see a pattern here. Good luck to you!
