Romney's election night will be in Boston

(CNN) - Mitt Romney will gather with supporters on election night in Boston, his campaign said Tuesday.

The Republican presidential nominee's election night event will take place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, according to the campaign.

The 2.1 million square foot facility has several halls and ballrooms and is billed as the largest convention center in New England.

Romney was formerly governor of Massachusetts and lives in Belmont, Mass.

Earlier this month, Obama's campaign said his election night events would be held in Chicago's McCormick Place.

I'm sure that's one more thing that makes his conservative pals upset.

IN THE STATE WHERE HE IS MOST DISTRUSTED BECAUSE HE WAS GOVERNOR THERE!
SUMMARIZING RAW MONEY: "There is no logical connection between the before and after policies except Romney's consistent ambition and willingness to say whatever is necessary at any given juncture to achieve the presidency. He seemed confused at times trying to explain the contradictions" (John Avlon, CNN, 23 October)

Considering that Massachusetts is a Democrat stronghold, I doubt there will be many Bostonians lined up for tickets. Great news for the Boston economy though as the out-of-town Repugs show up to support their losing candidate. Hold your noses Bostonians and collect those Repug trickle down dollars. The bars should do particularly well as the Repugs drown their sorrows when OBAMA WINS.

In a state that he ran but won't come close to winning in November??? Is that a good choice? Maybe he should spend election night in the state where he grew up and his father ran. Wait, he's not going to carry that home state either. OK, maybe he should spend election night in the state where he has a vacation home (you know, the one with the car elevator). Oh no, he's not going to win that state either. Maybe he should go to the state where he has his other vacation home. I think the polls still consider New Hampshire a toss up state so he should spend the night in a state that at least has a sliver of a chance of winning.

What does that say about a candidate when the people in states that know him best aren't planning to vote for him? Think about that for a bit.

I have a close relative who has been living in Mass. for nearly thirty years and, from what I am hearing, they don't like him very much there. I wouldn't be surprised if he loses not only his birth State of Michigan but Mass as well. I also believe that he will lose Wisconscin (Ryan's home State).

Good for Boston, they can run Mr. Romney and his clan out of town for a second time.

How humiliating for Romney - his own home state strongly supports President Obama. And for good reason. The four years we had this snake oil salesman as our governor were more than enough. Romeny was so unsuccessful and unpopular during his only term that polls showed he could never be re-elected, so he didn't even try.

A state he won't win. Maybe he should hang out in the Caymens with his cash.

You meant to say his concession speech didn't you? There will be no need for him to have that much space for a few lines of regret. MA doesn't want any part of him and neither do I.

Good bye Corn Flake. You are too unstable to lead this country.

Interesting that he is picking a state that he will surely lose as the place to hold his election night wake. He doesn't drink (even coffee), so how will he drown his sorrows? Milk? Can you drink enough milk to make you feel better? How about Kool Aid...

I guess Boston is as good a place as any to concede defeat on November 6. At least he will be close to him lakefront home in New Hampshire. Maybe he can go for a boat ride the next day to reflect on is folly. As of today, Romeny has a 29.7% chance of winning the general.

After the endorsement he gave to our President he might as well do it on his way to his mansion in Cali – the one with the car elevator.
