VIDEO: Sen. Kerry: Romney is 'campaigner-in-confusion'

(CNN) – Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, who played the role of Mitt Romney in the president's debate prep, said Romney changed some of his foreign policy positions in the final presidential showdown.

"The President of the United States was the commander-in-chief, and Mitt Romney–I hate to say it–was the campaigner-in-confusion," he said Tuesday on CNN's "Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien." "He's hiding his positions."

Thank you John Kerry for your willingness to play a coward, a draft dodger and a tax cheat just to keep this country from going DOWN under a Romney/Ryan administration. I know it was demeaning for you, but you nonetheless knew how important this was for the nation. For that, I say well done sir.

Willard didn't know who he was supposed to be last night or why. He only knew he had to show up, even if it meant being a first rate clown on the national stage. He is a campaigner-in-confusion and I'm glad the president showed it to the world.

    Great job.

Kerry wants to be Sec. of State so bad he can taste it. Too bad Senator, it's not going to happen. You will need to settle on being a Senator and nothing more.

What did Romney do during the war??? Really, get your facts right.

Obama was a combative, ill-informed petty debater last night. That's all he has. He loses on the real issues. He does not understand the Middle East. This is why he gave $300 aid to Hamas. Those missiles flying into Israel are not cheap.

"Mitt Romney–I hate to say it–was the campaigner-in-confusion,"

But Romney accomplished his GOAL, Mr. Kerry. Apparently it was his STRATEGIC INTENTION to look confused and jumbled and ... well, sweaty. Really. His operatives are all over the news media telling us just that. It's really too funny to grasp seriously. A potential Commander in Chief wanting to give the entire world the impression of confusion ... and some might even say ... early onset of dementia.

Totally partisan comment, and why does THAT deserve to be news? Everyone in the Dems is trying to "spin" the winner, and they are totally wrong about who won.

Obama was so petty with his attacks, that I wouldn't vote for him, just because of his attitude.

Mittens was confused last night, and he was ill prepared. If Mittens is afraid to go on "The View" to face 5 women, how can the right wingnuts believe he would stand up to China?

Like his wife Ann, I,too am concerned about his mentqal health. He seems to be in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease of which one of the symptoms is confusion and short term memory loss. He cannot seem to remember what he said last week or even a few weeks ago!

Where did you get that idea? Hillary's doing a superb job and nobody's interested in replacing her during the next four years.

I'm sorry, but you just called Obama ill-informed? When Mittens sat there on national television and claimed Syria is Iran's "path to the sea"? Syria and Iran share no borders, Iran would have to waltz through Turkey, Iraq or Jordan to get to the sea via Syria AND it doesn't even need to because Iran has 1,500 miles of coastline. And you have the audacity to call Obama "ill-informed"? Grow up. Mittens made a fool of himself last night and everybody saw it....which is why the GOP/Teatrolls like yourself and the MSM are both in massive spin mode to help fix it for him.

Yeah, we already had that in a commander in chief 3 decades ago. Didn't quite work out so well for the majority of Americans tho'.

I use to come to these comments sections for some good olde humor. Then it got ugly and people started pretending they were launching their careers as replacement for Hannity or Limboo.

Thanks for bringing the humor back.

@Rick McDaniel- you had no plans to vote for President Obama. President Obama is a leader unlike Romney who doesn't know what he is for, or where he is half the time. You really have issues when President Obama stands up to the bully Romney. Well get used to it because slavery ended a long time ago.

It deserves to be news the same way all the reichwing anti-Obama comments are news. Funny, I don't see you whining about those.

For real. I mean, really...just sweeping it under the rug that Mittens couldn't even get the freekin geography in the MIddle East correct? Insanely dishonest. I stand by my comment that Mittens would've spent the entire hour and a half of the debate looking for Romnsia on the map if told to point it out. But hey, at least the MSM's blatant freakout over Mittens' pathetic performance last night is entertaining.

"Where did you get that idea? Hillary's doing a superb job and nobody's interested in replacing her during the next four years."

One person is interested in replacing her over the next 4 years: Hillary. She's been pretty clear about not wanting to continue public/political life after this term.
