Ohio Poll: Obama 49%, Romney 47%

(CNN) – A new poll taken after the final presidential debate indicates President Barack Obama has a slight edge over Republican challenger Mitt Romney in Ohio.

Forty-nine percent of likely voters in the state back Obama, compared to 47% who support Romney, according to the American Research Group survey released Friday.

The margin falls well within the sampling error, meaning the race is statistically tied in the Buckeye State, a crucial battleground in the 2012 presidential race.

Also in the poll, one percent of respondents said they prefer another candidate, while three percent said they are undecided.

ARG surveyed 600 likely voters in Ohio between October 23 and October 25. The poll has a sampling error of plus or minus eight percentage points.

If the people of Ohio vote for Romney, after what Bush and his policies did to them, AND after Romney said "let the auto industry go bankrupt" .... they deserve everything that they get.

Ohio, PLEASE vote for Obama/Biden! For all the women in your life.......and just think? If Romney was truly a fine American why oh why would he invest his huge wealth in other places? And why oh why doesn't he repudiate the outrageous statements about rape and some other racist comments made by members of his party? Disgusting! Obama/Biden 2012

When [Obama] came over to our little area” at Andrew Air Force Base, says Woods, “he kind of just mumbled, you know, ‘I’m sorry.’ His face was looking at me, but his eyes were looking over my shoulder like he could not look me in the eye. And it was not a sincere, ‘I’m really sorry, you know, that your son died,’ but it was totally insincere, more of whining type, ‘I’m sorry.’”

Woods says that shaking President Obama’s hands at his son’s memorial service was “like shaking hands with a dead fish.”

Ohio, you better get this one right. We cannot afford four more years of a President more worried about his re-election than about a dead U.S. Ambassador to Libya, the economy, or leadership. There is a bigger divide in this country by miles than there was the day this man took office. "Hope and Change" was an empty suit . . . and we need some serious CHANGE on November 6.

The President has got to hold the line in Ohio. I think it's safe to say that who ever gets Ohio wins the Presidency. So far Pres. Obama has maintained a small lead there. If he can just maintain for a week and a half, I think he's got it. HOLD THAT LINE! OBAMA/BIDEN, 2012!

Plus or minus eight points? Why is the margin of error so high?

Several Presidents had great 2nd terms as President, namely FDR, Reagan, and Clinton......but name even one president who could beat this first term record

....inherited 800,000 job losses/month flipped to 31 straight months of gains
...captured and killed an entire network of terrorists that precipitated 9/11 & bragged about it on videos
...passed Equal Pay for Women (Lilly Ledbetter act)
...Passed comprehensive health care to add 31 of the 48 million un-insured to healthcare coverage
...helped to eliminate the worst dictator, Omar Ghadaffi, of the last 50 years, who orchestrated air bombings of US cit.
...Presided over the partial democratization of 5 previously dictatorial regimes in the Middle East
..For the first time in century, fuel exports in 2011 (1.1 trililion barrels) exceeded imports (.9 trillion barrels)
...had lowest % in discretionary spending in 55 years, at 1.3%
...had lowest maximum federal tax rates in 65 years at 35% FIT, 15% CG, 4.2%FICA, and 10 million exemption inheritatnce

Can you name any president in history that accomplished this much in first term?

How could this news station even consider posting a poll with an error of plus or minus eight percentage points? That is irresponsible and shows how bias this news station has become. It's unfortunate and disheartening.

The polls will shift dramatically to Romney, now the truth is out that President Obama told the SEALS to stand down 3 times during the Benghazi attack and let our brave Americans, that fought to the bitter end, be butchered

Obama is ahead, because citizens are realizing the stark differences between the two candidates. Despite Romney's attempt to blur the differences by copying everything President Obama said, says, did, and does. President Obama actually cares about 100% of US (even those who don't vote for him), means what he says, and works hard. Romney will say anything to anyone to get a vote and no one knows what/who Romney stands for. If your still undecided just ask if Massachusetts would ever re-elect Romney for Governor, as they know Romney best. Lastly, ROMNEY ACTUALLY PUT A NEGATIVE SPIN ON TODAY's THIRD QUARTER GDP GROWTH, because he has no new ideas or plan! Enough said.

Ohio voters are paying attention! Mitt Romney is on his way to a win and Ohio will be a key part of that victory. They deserve better than what they have had. And they are realizing what they need to do now. Romney/ Ryan 2012.

If you want to know how Romey would have govern research the 2008 primary campaign and align with the events of the past 4 years and you will she our military bogged down in Iraq, Afghan, Syria and preparing to go to Iran. Medicaid would have pushed our seniors into padverse poverty, the tax cuts would have slid the floor out from under the middleclass. There would be Rich Poor and very poor... there would be no Auto industry, food lines would run throughout the midwest sout and eastern states. Several pensions, 401k's and retirement plans would be strapped. Gas prices would be at $15 a gallon because of the ongoing and newly started wars... While from 2009 until today, Romney would have made 10-12 Billion dollars... November 6th will decide if we will be America the Beautiful or a third world country. the BP oil spill would pale in comaprison to the offshore drilling, that would kill the fish and wild life. Lake Erie would become a dump, schools left to the states strapped for cash, would crumble brick by brick....

Ok, this poll uses a full eye popping 9% democratic over sampling AND has a margin of error of 8 % ? That is ridiculous and obviously means Romney is ahead by 7% not Obama by 2%

Just casted my ballot for Obama/Biden. Willard scares the hell out of me. I am old and on Social Security and Medicare. I hear that Willard is going to take away my drug coverage in the donut hole. If that happens I will lose my apartment and not be able to eat everyday. Believe me I don't live like a king but I would like to have a home to live in and eat three modest meals a day.

Please people help the seniors by not voting for Willard M. Romney.
