Boehner to kick off get-out-the-vote bus tour in Ohio this weekend

Washington (CNN) - House Speaker John Boehner will join presidential candidate Mitt Romney and vice presidential nominee Paul Ryan in Boehner's home town of West Chester, Ohio at a rally Friday night, before heading off on a three day statewide bus tour to boost GOP turnout in the final weekend before Tuesday's election.

On Saturday morning Boehner will board the same bus he's ridden for his regular pre-election tour since the 1990's. The bus, originally owned by one of Boehner's neighbors, is wrapped in his signature "Team Boehner" green logo, and will travel around the state hitting more than a dozen towns in three days.

Boehner will rally voters in GOP strongholds like Butler County, and Lima where the goal is to make sure the Republican base comes out in big numbers for Romney, but he'll also visit some key swing areas like Wadsworth and Wooster. After redistricting reshaped congressional districts GOP freshman Jim Renacci is facing Democratic Rep Betty Sutton in one of the mostly negative and hotly contested House races in the country outside Cleveland. Boehner will hold a rally with Renacci. He'll also visit Niles in Trumbell County in the north east corner of the state, which voted overwhelmingly for President Obama in 2008.

Unlike Boehner's bus tour two years ago when the then -GOP leader was focused on defeating Democrats to regain the majority and get the Speaker's gavel, this year's trip is all about presidential politics.

According to Boehner's political aide, the Speaker will focus his message, as he has for months, on the criticizing President Obama's economic agenda.

The speaker has aimed his efforts this year stumping and fundraising for House GOP candidates, many in states like Illinois, New York and California where Obama will easily carry the state. But he's also campaigned for for the Romney-Ryan ticket in competitive states such as New Hampshire, Colorado, Iowa, and North Carolina in the last month.

I think America is showing it's true colors! We have not gotten over racism! They have hated the POTUS since day one! Romney has lied over and over. Regardless of Romney being proved a liar...people still will vote for him to get the black man out of office. What a shame!

Someone please tell Boehner to not waste his time or gas because the people of Ohio are not buying what either he or Mitt is selling. If Boehner is the best they can do, then they are in worst shape than I thought.

Now Boehner is worrying about jobs. The man has sat on his hands for two years and refused to do anything that might, mind you might help, Mr. Obama get re-elected. Hundreds of thousands of people across this country were looking to Congress for aid and all they did was bicker. I do hope that the good people of Ohio realize this fact.

His side has waged a very negative campaign across the country. You know something is amiss when every ad in every state has a similar theme. Only the names are changed. How could these ads matter? Why would these PACS wast the money of their benefactors? The donors should get a refund.

I'd love to see this drunk board this bus and head out of the "government" he hates so much, and into the nearest bar for good. Not once has he tried to create a single job or work with the president and I hope this bus disappears FOREVER with him in it.

I pray to God this guy does not have a job on Nov. 7th and he is standing either in a unemployment office trying to collect his check or standing in a line with 3000 hard working American's to apply for his next job. This Republican will be voting a straight Democratic Ticket... Tonight.

  17. The Situation

Good Grief, Deputy Dog and his buddies approval rating is much lower than Obama and Mitts is going out on the stump with this fool. He is apart of the problem. Remember Deputy Dog Boehner didn't vote for the stimulus. You really think Ohio voters who would of been affected if GM went under has forgotten that!

Boehner stocked his redneck express with plenty of $2.00 six-packs. Now it's time to do some serious lying and even more serious weeping.

@AzDem; I agree it is about race. The media has danced around the issue. I admire brave people like you that are not afraid to tell it like it is. I think some white people are afraid of losing control of everything. They may as well get used to
our country because white people will soon be the minority race in our country.

The liberal, let's play the race card again! The fact that Obama has been proven to have lied over and over again means nothing eh? Yet, liberals will still vote for the liar? Yes, what a shame!
