New York (CNNMoney) - The October jobs report will come out on Friday morning as scheduled, the Department of Labor announced Wednesday.
With Superstorm Sandy closing federal offices for two days, the department's ability to produce the highly-anticipated report was thrown into doubt. The report will provide a last look at the health of the job market before Tuesday's presidential election.
The predictor models of the election outcome are going to soar tonight and tomorrow in Obama's favor. Right now, fivethirtyeight has the President with 299 electoral votes. The princeton election consortium had him at 315 votes this morning...all before these very public comments and media shots of Christie and the President cooperating and working together. Halloween, for Mitt, has become a very scary day.
