October jobs report will be released Friday

New York (CNNMoney) - The October jobs report will come out on Friday morning as scheduled, the Department of Labor announced Wednesday.

With Superstorm Sandy closing federal offices for two days, the department's ability to produce the highly-anticipated report was thrown into doubt. The report will provide a last look at the health of the job market before Tuesday's presidential election.

Uh – November 6 we will vote – Disaster relief – FEMA or 2 cans of peas for each person? Or do you want it privatized so Haliburton can send goons in and gouge the prices of everything?

I'm sure Obama will discover another 5 million people with jobs that have been overlooked for the last 4 years and the rate will drop to 5.4%. But it would still be higher than the unemployment rate Romney was able to achieve in Mass. (4.7%!)

Yes, by all means give the unAmerican republicans and their ring leader, one more chance to party at the expense of those who are in the unemployment lines. Adding jobs has ALWAYS been good (before Obama became president), even if it is at a slower rate than we would like-but let these nasty, unGodly beasts have one more laugh before we go to the polls and vote to KICK THEM ALL OUT.

It doesn't matter. If voters are thinking, "The Economy" when they step up to the booth, Obama loses.
He has had 4 years to let his policies run. We are living their results. Every day. It's not good.

and you can bet that the RNC..you know the party that says JOBS JOBS JOBS will be sitting with fingers and toes crossed that it will be a BAD report and that number will go back up over 8 again. Of course if it goes down again they will claim it's been as Trump put it "monkeyed around with"

"He has had 4 years to let his policies run. "

No he hasn't. The historical and congressional record of GOP/Teatroll obstruction proves that so wrong that you'd be ashamed of yourself if you weren't, as a conservative, incapable of that emotion. You don't get to obstruct everything, brag about doing so and then claim he got to do everything he wanted. That's malarkey of the highest order.

Most economist say the stimulus worked. The auto bailout worked. Those voters in Ohio, Wisconsin & Michigan are living proof of the success of those policies. Those 12 million jobs Willard keeps saying he's going to create are all fruit of President Obama's policies. He's trying to take credit for something that he didn't implement. The same way how he tried to take credit in the debate over Massachusetts education rating in math and english when he came into office. That wasn't success was not due to his policies, but his predecessor's. He's selling you a bag of goods and all of you on the right are eating it up. Suckers!!!

    SEASONAL EMPLOYMENT.

Holidays = more hiring for the Holiday season.

  22. Truth hurts....the real truth

Now Truth lets look at the fact.....when Mitt became governor the states unemployment rate was 5.4% and he was governor from 2003-2007.....and youre right brought the rate down to 4.7% but you need to explain the rest of the facts before you state your data. 10% which is where it peaked at in the United States in 2009 but 10%>5.4% so please continue....
