Axelrod: Obama closing argument 'from his loins'

Lima, Ohio (CNN) – David Axelrod described the message coming from President Barack Obama days before Election Day as "coming from his loins."

"I've never seen him more exhilarated than he is right now. He believes in what he's doing. He believes in what he's fighting for," Axelrod told reporters Friday after the president's event in Lima, Ohio. "You can see in the speech that he's delivering that this is coming from his loins."

"I just wanted to say loins," the president's senior adviser added with a smirk. "I wanted to see if I can get loins in the story."

Axelrod's comments followed Obama's third campaign event of the day in Ohio, the latest example of the emphasis Team Obama is putting on the state.

The auto bailout is something the president cites as a major first term accomplishment. It has taken center stage here after TV and radio ads from Mitt Romney's campaign criticized the president over saving companies that are now expanding in China. Obama's campaign and auto CEOs have pushed back hard against the charge that Jeep (owned by Chrysler) and GM are now shipping jobs overseas, a message Axelrod perpetuated.

Axelrod said the ads were slipped on Ohio residents "like a thief in the night," and that Romney "got caught." He described the spot as a "risk" for the Romney campaign, necessary because of their precarious path to 270 electoral votes.

"It backfired horribly," Axelrod said.

"A few ads at the end of a campaign isn't a campaign," senior adviser David Plouffe, standing next to Axelrod, told reporters.

Plouffe, exuding electoral confidence, called recent efforts by the Romney campaign in Pennsylvania "fairytale" and said the auto ad will only serve as a reminder of the president's steps to rescue the industry, which provides a significant number of jobs in the Buckeye State.

An "utterly confident" Axelrod said come Tuesday, the Romney campaign "will be left to wonder why the mythical wave never came."

With four days left, Intrade has Obama at 67% and rising, and Nate Silver's 538 website has Obama at 81% and rising.

So, in other words, they really are shipping jobs overseas, just like Romney said. Must be semantics, eh?
And the loins statement leaves me speechless, as I really don't want to picture the president's loins...kind of like a kid that doesn't want any visuals of his parents doing anything

I don't recall seeing much of Obama the last 4 years, except on shows like "the view" and "Leno". People have been suffering, and what do I hear fom the White House? Massive debt, million dollar parties for dignitaries and whatever holiday Michelle is on this week. It still shocks me how the Prez and family spent a million dollars on Chirstmas in Hawaii! It has to stop! We need an accountable government, not one that you can hear the echos of "let's party".....Weeeeeeeee

So Obama's aggression comes from "his loins". I guess that's why he's chasing the women's vote.

Due the weather disaster on east coast, Voting should be extended or posponed so people can get to vote in this important election. If the marathon can be cancelled why can't the election be postponed? Its not impossible.

    Obama's association with his pastors just show what his ideologies are and why Blacks overwhelmingly support Obama;
Pastor and confidante Jeremiah Wright – he said "Blacks are the chosen people who will only accept a god who assists their aim of destroying the “white enemy.”
Pastor Lowery who made the benediction of Obama's inauguration – He said "All White people will go to hell, every good 'Nigger' will vote for Obama"

America fights for democracy that is free of discrimination against races, creeds and social groups. But this leader of the free world advocates for divisiveness among races, creeds and social groups.

The feeling in President Obama's loins is not exhiliration. It's the agony of impending defeat.. Governor Romney's momentum has even spread to Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Minnesota, etc.
President Obama's record does not support re-election and he knows it. He also knows it is a matter of time before the truth of Benghazi is exposed.
The emporer wears no clothes. And there is a chill in his loins.

Romney is so transparent as a liar and person of no integrity or character that you can read the newspaper right through him.He is also a spoiled Bully and America don't need a hothead like him as our leader. We are no more than another good job on his resume. He always looks busy but is not became he never has the appearance of poeple when they have been at work. After Sandy he looked crisp and sparkly white and only when the cameras were on him did he paass a bag or pick up boxes. He will not make a president of integrity like President Obama! Don't let the devil fool You, take a look with Your Spiritual eyes and listen with Your Spiritual ears then think back and know. That we have been down this road. Many times before.

Sadly, Obama just don't have the heart for the dirt and cut throat politics that are the game plan for political control. Odd, being from Chicago, but thats probably why he isn't there!! The Republicans stalemated his ambition doing good for the benefit of our country! That should be looked at as TREASON in my book! I think the Republicans should pay for their last four years of party filibustering! I'm voting STRAIGHT DEMOCRAT! If you have more pride for your Country than "Corporate Control" I'd recommend you choose wisely! Think about it, It's been common practice that the one's that yell the loudest have the most to hide! Romney obviously has things he wants to hide by not releasing his tax returns for the period of years that he profited from his expertise in streamlining corporations for profits! You have to realize by now where his real loyalties lie. Pact Groups are trying to out spend Obama 2/1 to buy the election. Romney even has ex-supporters who think he is out of line! Like the video recording of him calling 47% of Americans looking for Handouts! Keep in mind, Republicans want a figurehead to promote their agenda, it doesn't matter if he is intelligent or another G.W. Bush!

Unbiased journalism and reporting is dead in America. I am dissappointed to read from one network to another cynasizum and ridecule fro one candidate or another. Disgraceful personal attacks, especially coming from networks that I have trusted all my life. I care about our country and have seen good come from many political parties. But never have i seen and heard such hate. A president cursing, anger and persoanl attacks. A women rediculed on a national network show? what a disgrace. I make my choice based on two factors delivery of commitments and morality. I am voting for a person that has shown me character, me I am voting for Romney. You want to vote for Obama go for it, but it would be a mistake. I need a president that my kids can look up to. Not because he is black or successful or indian or jewish i hope for a president with decency, Obama is not it.
