Fairfax, Virginia (CNN) – Mitt Romney will campaign in Cleveland, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Election Day, campaign officials said Monday.
While Ohio is considered perhaps the most crucial battleground this cycle, Pennsylvania tends to lean Democratic. Recent polls, however, have indicated the race is tightening in the state, sparking renewed efforts by the Romney campaign to make a play for the state.

The stops, however, won't be rallies, an adviser said. They will be treated as "OTR's" - campaign speak for pool reporter coverage of small meet-and-greet type events.
The idea is that they're "just going to keep working up until the polls close," the adviser said. The campaign wants to "keep the energy going," and Romney will mostly be helping and thanking "get-out-the-vote" volunteers, the adviser added.

The visits will mark Romney's second time to both states this week, as the Republican presidential nominee held an event in Morrisville, Pennsylvania on Sunday and will hold a rally in Columbus, Ohio on Monday night.
Presidential candidates typically set aside campaigning on Election Day, though some White House hopefuls have made last-minute stops.
The campaign announced earlier Monday that Romney and his wife, Ann, are also scheduled to vote Tuesday in Belmont, Massachusetts at around 8:30 a.m. ET.

Lol...give it up Romney....U lostttttttttttttttttttt this one! #TeamObama
Give it a break alreadt. He is so desperate to win.
yeah Robmey, just throw those lies, mistruths, and downright hatred up on the wall and hope something will stick.
Romney will win!
Take it easy Governor!!
Whats more pathetic then a failed President. Is the follower that still votes for him for re-election. Forget Romney's 47% comment. I wanna say 49% are either ignorant, closed minded and bitter or just blind to the issues at hand that vote for Obama
Nate Silver: 98% chance of Obama winning by 5.7% in PA.
CNN is just helping Mittens with the pre-election confidence game smoke screen. Yawn.
Lazy Obama thought the election is in his bag, just as he believed so before the first debate!
Haha..."tightening"? The one poll I could find that calls this a "tie" indicates that Obama moved 4% to make it a tie. The rest are 3% to 6% in favor of Obama and have been for a while. PA isn't "in play." This is just more manufacturing of the horse race narrative.
Romney is shameless! But he cannot help it he is so excited – can't wait to "trickle down" on us! Or, send us back to the ER on day one! Or start "harvesting" the country! The 47% are safe; he does not care about them...What was that in his eyes? OH, right $$$$$$$ signs! How anybody can be so careless and irresponsible or plain dump to vote for this guy or the GOP – I will never understand!
I will vote! Strait "D" ticket! This is just too important. Come join and WE ALL will win!
Be sure to check Robmey for Voter Fraud. Make sure his ID is legitimate. Make sure True the Vote is on hand to give him a "challenge".
Pure stupidity in already handing BO the election. Don't know why people post such ignorance. These polls are rarely accurate. Would not surprise me if Romney wins by over 10 points in the electoral in this two-party scam that continues to be run on the American people.
The chamaleon is changing its color again. Yesterday Romney was severely (impaired) conservative, and today he is for change and tomorrow he wil send all the jobs to China and will transfer his millions to overseas banks or tax evading regions. Now he does not talk about his past tax returns. May be he needs to be reminded by the media about his past taxes. This guy has no core values and he wants to be president by any means. Shameful.
Romney/Ryan 2012! Dont be fooled again America! Obamas only policy is stealing from the hard working and successful to waste anywhere and everywhere he can on some social revenge agenda. The most divisive president of our time bar none!
Can't wait to see Axelrod shave off his moustache after Romney wins PA and with it the Presidency...
That sign? REAL RETIREMENT--Day One. Go home, alexithymic Mitt.l
"Lazy Obama..."
Is that you, Sununu? Come on now...no need to hide beihnd the hood or by using dogwhitles...just come out of the closet and be a proud racist.
Dirty old man is running so scarce.
Something the people are smart enough to vote for, a candidate that thought he could lie cheat steal and buy his way into the white house. Americans as a whole are to smart to put Romney anywhere close to the presidency.
@babak
Romney will win!

Yeah, sure. In planet Kolob.
Iowa belives? In what?
1) Your sons and daughters going off to fight wars while Willard and his sons "protect us"?
2) Willard's hidden tax returns?
3) Ann's "struggles" while living off millions?
4) MediCare and social security being given to Wall Street and turned into worthless vouchers?
5) Willard telling you when you can conceive?
What exactly do these people believe, since he hasn't been forthcoming about anything regarding his plans, or how he makes his money. Can people really see things so black or white?
Marry - I will vote! Strait "D" ticket! This is just too important. Come join and WE ALL will win!

Yeah! You'll "win" 4 more years of record unemployment, record debt, record deficits, skyrocketing food and fuel prices, and the joy of living off of food stamps. At least until the country goes bankrupt. Enjoy your "win". Have you seen the mess Democrats have made of California? It will be coming to a country near you if the Democrats and Obama don't get flushed.
Tomorrow is the BIG day. We will soon learn the will of the people. Do we move forward or do we return to the dark ages of GWB.
No one is paying attention to this flip-flopping clown – especially on election day. 13.7% chance of winning the general Mittens. I like the president's odds at 84% much better.
I cannot wait for Romney to lose and go home to one of his many homes. Just watching him turns my stomach I thought George Bush was the worst thing in that party but Mitt is worse. If you look at all the lies Mitt has told the country I cannot see how anyone would vote for him.
