Washington (CNNMoney) – Most of the $36 million that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce spent on its pro-business agenda this election went down the drain.
According to federal records compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics, a watchdog group, $29 million of the money was spent in races that the Chamber's favored candidate lost.

Facts do matter. Ha! Ha! – Romney/Ryan & the Republicans lost. What a bunch of losers. The GOP can try to blame it on Democrats ground game, weather, too much regulations, tax increases on the rich, climate change etc. but the people saw through all the lies and nonsense they were selling. I hope the Republican learnt a lesson that the American people are not forgetful and stupid. We can remember clearly what happened when the Republicans were in charge of the White House.
It was painful watching Fox News try to spin a major Republican loss into a major Republican win. All of their projections that Romney would win were dead wrong. It proves that Fox News has not credibility. Everyone of them. So for those folks who watch Fox News and listen to House and Senate Republicans and their surrogates spew their lies as gospel, this is a wake-up call. They are leading you down a losing path.
Now we can continue to build and move this country forward.
Union jobs support higher wages in same sector private companies, they have to pay a competitive wage to retain high quality workers, all you people bitchin probrably cant compete, or dont have credentials to get in a union, not always the case , but?
When I was growing up. we thought of the Chamber of Commerce as a group of local businessmen working to better our community. I would never dream of supporting them, or thinking more highly of a member, these days.
Further, the business of this country does much better with Democrat leadership in Washington. Higher GDP, rising stock markets, faster job growth. So why does the Chamber support republicans so much?
When did they become affiliated with the republican party? (I know, a long time ago,)
They should be fired for wasting $30 million on a bad investment (aka Republicans). They could have used that money to invest in their businesses and hire more people. And they call themselves job creators and patriots. These are not business leaders, they are losers

Public employee salaries are public record. All you have to do is contact the HR department of your federal, state, county or municipal government and request the salary range for a particular job, or you can ask for a list of employees, their jobs, length of employment and hourly wage/salary. Did you REALLY not know that?
