Washington (CNN) - When Sen. Mark Begich looks at the next two years, he says he is not concerned about the tough votes he is bound to have to make that could have an impact on his re-election in 2014.
The moderate Democrat from Alaska even laughs a bit when he says, "Every vote we take here is tough."
Gov Romney had access to security info before the election –remember?
Every member of Congress should be focused on one thing and that is doing their jobs now and not politicing for future elections. Those that dedicate themselves to doing nothing but obstructing the other party – thats you DeMint and McConnel, should be called out and shown the gate. Time to move America forward.
Just do your job – no extremes – just take care of America's business. The past election should not be viewed as a mandate to go left – it was a mandate to stay reasonable and moderate. The rxtreme right view was rejected just an extreme left view will be.
Well the Democrats own it all. No more blaming Bush or the obstructionists. Obamacare, tax hikes, fiscal cliff, debts unemployment and the deficits are going to effect everything in 2013. The President and the Dems in the Senate will be forced to do real budgets that have to be voted on. They will have to craft entitlement reform, tax reform and find a way nto grow the economy in order to fix our fiscal crisis before its too late. They have alot on their plates. The only way to accomplish these things is to have true bi partisan agreements which means to compromise with the Republicans in the House and Senate.
The American people have given the President another term, I hope he can acconplish what needs to be done.
Okay people. Let's give this up. For both parties, remember that if you don't work together your party will be blamed. We the People have figured it out. For the Republicans: getting control of the Senate might not work well for you either. If you further screw up like you have in Congress, the next president will be a Democrat. Frankly, I think the Republican party's behavior was the single reason why President Obama was reelected. I love it!
