(CNN) – Billionaire investor Warren Buffett said he hopes Hillary Clinton will become the first female president of the United States in 2016.
"I don't see how you could have anybody better qualified," Buffett told CNN's Poppy Harlow in an exclusive interview Wednesday about the current Secretary of State and 2008 White House hopeful.

"I like what she believes in," said Buffett. "I think she's extraordinarily able and energetic for that matter in pushing those beliefs."
Buffett not worried about fiscal cliff
Buffett, a Democrat and the namesake for the bill known as the "Buffett Rule" that would require people earning $1 million a year or more to pay at least 30% in taxes, supported both President Barack Obama and Clinton as presidential candidates in four years ago. He held fund-raisers and donated money to each of the candidates' campaigns.
The bill, which failed to pass the Senate in April, was intended to prevent the wealthy from paying a lower actual tax rate than most middle class workers, a proposal Buffett, Obama and a number of Democrats have endorsed.
Clinton is finishing her term in the Obama administration and has said she will not run for the president in the next election insisting she is finished with politics for good.

It isn't going to matter who the Democrats nominate, whoever it is will become the next presiddent. Until Republicans get their act together and find a kinder-gentler platform, there won't be a Republican candidate alive who can squash the anger welled up in Republican hearts against their neighbors. Especially not if the Republican party continues to allow sour grapes McCain be their torch bearer for the next 4 years.

Ironic that Buffet thinks people like him should pay more, but he wants to do it through tax hikes rather than voluntarily GIVING the money to the government. Typical liberal thinking: use the government as a means to force others to do what they think should be done.

I want to reserve my opinion until the facts come out on Benghazi.
So Hillary can play the role of John McCain and Rubio the role of Obama. Young vs Old. We know how that one always turns out.
Mrs. Clinton could run against Huntsman, if the GOP will wake up and stop being stupid. OR they could run together (PLEASE come away from the nuts in the GOP Huntsman) – now that would be good.

I think if you'll check, instead of just flapping your gums, you'll find that Buffett has been calling for higher taxes on himself and other 1%ers for a long time. Doesn't sound much like he's depending on others to pay his way, does it?
Now, your Romneys, Waltons, and Kochs won't be asking to have their taxes raised. That's because they are tight-wad Republicans. Personally, I think they should be taxed back to the Stone Age.
Hilary will run in 2016 and again in 2020 for her second term. She says she is not interested, but we all know better. And then her daughter, Chelsea will be elected in 2024 and 2028...

while all the time paying far lower tax rates and then donating all his low taxed money to avoid paying taxes. his company has also fought paying back taxes. buffet is one of the biggest tax cheats on the planet. he's sucking up to obama to get his irs cases favorable treatment.
