(CNN) - Sens. John Kerry and John McCain ribbed one another Monday about jobs they could have or could have had.
The two former presidential candidates broke from their typical Senate titles at a press conference in Washington.

"Thank you very much, Mr. Secretary," McCain addressed Kerry. Although much of the speculation of who might succeed Secretary of State Hillary Clinton includes Ambassador Susan Rice, the Massachusetts Democrat is also thought to be on any short list for the post.
Returning to the podium next, Kerry began, "Thank you very much, Mr. President." McCain, a Republican from Arizona, was the GOP nominee for the Oval Office in 2008.
"This is what happens when you get two losers up here, folks. We're just having fun," Kerry continued. He was the Democratic presidential nominee in 2004.
Funny (well, not really), how McCain respects and laughs with white men but only scorns and tries to belittle the president. Remember how he treated Obama during the debates in 08 (not acknowledging he was even on the stage) with him? I get a good feeling John-knowing you only have two more elections before you're completely senile and unable to cast a vote. Good riddance.
Love from California John Kerry and I look foward to finding out what role you'll get in the Obama administration.
Thats great like Rodney King said Cant we just all get along
McLame is the BIGGEST LOSER!!............still sore from Obama's defeat!
what a sore loser "that one" McNasty!!!
McCain is racist lets call it what it is can't stand this old man got no brain who want block everything Obama want
There's a big difference between a loser and a bitter loser. John McCain is a bitter loser and John Kerry is a loser with honor and if Kerry is selected as Secretary of State that won't be considered "having fun to McCain".
For the past 12 years or so, McCain has had a side job: Professional Dipwad.
Amazing that McCain thinks that Mr. Obama will abrogate his Sec_of_State selection decision to him. I might recommend that McCain try a different tactic if he really wants the President to not pick Rice.
As I stated in a prior post, the only reason the Grand Obstructionist Party will refuse to approve Rice (if nominated) is to force Obama to his next choice – Kerry. The choice of Rice has nothing to do with Benghazi OR her qualifications. It's political posturing, hoping that Obama will put forth Kerry, thereby releasing his seat in the Senate. That's on the premise that the shellacking Scott Brown received from Liz Warren could not possibly happen twice and Brown would win it.
I'm not holding my breath...
