(CNN) - Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will take a key leadership position with Philadelphia's National Constitution Center, the organization announced Tuesday.
Bush will step up as chairman of the center's Board of Trustees in January.

The organization encourages scholarship and discussions about the U.S. Constitution, and includes a museum with a copy of the U.S. Constitution that was published in a 1787 Pennsylvania newspaper. It served as the venue for then-Sen. Barack Obama's significant speech on race during his 2008 presidential run.
He follows former President Bill Clinton in the role, who began serving in January 2009. Bush's father, former President George H. W. Bush, was elected to the spot in 2007.
The former Florida governor is thought by some to be interested in a 2016 White House run.

"I have seen more than one lefty making derogotory references. What is wrong with "leave it to beaver," and "green acres?" There is no cussing, there is expression of good family values, they were good, funny sitcoms. So, what is wrong with them?"
I dunno...but I find it hard to fathom that question coming from the GOP or a Teatroll, since a major plank in their platform is never to leave it to beaver, but to make all of beaver's decisions for it....or at least give it a mandatory ultrasound first.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! McConnell just filibustered his own bill to raise the debt ceiling because he got his bluff called like a chump!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA....wow this is funny.
We do not want another bush, 1st one took us to war, 2nd one took us to war the 3rd one will bankrupt America. Stay out of politics. We American will not vote for u.
Glad to see that the repugs still don't have a good candidate for 2016. Two bushes in the hits House was one too many!!!
Ain't gonna happen #3.
That's good for him but No More Bush's in the White House, two is enough especially after the last dumb one!!!!!
Things that make you say, "Hmmm."
Bush #1 started 1 war.
Bush #2 started 2 wars.
Bush #3 ..... ???
It is amazing that we are paying for those guys at the senate and house to do nothing. Can you cut their paycheck in half, as well as their benefits?
Wonder what he has to say, about Obama's attempt to steal the power of Congress, in addition to stealing from the rich to give away to the poor?

Rick – get a job. Day in day out you post Fox foreign owned media republican conspiracy talking points. Maybe you will be cured of your delusion, when Obamacare kicks in.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! McConnell just filibustered his own bill to raise the debt ceiling because he got his bluff called like a chump!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA....wow this is funny."
To qoute Dick Durbin: "This may be a moment in Senate history when a senator made a proposal and, when given an opportunity for a vote on that proposal, filibustered his own proposal," ... "I think we have reached a new spot in the history of the Senate we've never seen before."
Looks like McConnell has reached a new low in the history of the Senate we've never seen before as well. This guy really needs to be voted out of Congress. I'm not holding my breath because GOPers WILL vote for whom they think most upsets Democrats, but one can always hope that they too will eventually see the damage this one man alone has done to his own party. The good news in all this is McConnell will never become Majority Leader.

Isn't it obvious? Mr. Anonymous Sources, that's who. It's the same guy that told me Wolf Blitzer likes to eat peach cobbler after a fat chick stands in it for 30 minutes.
Could you do me a favor??? Stop these Bushes. This nation has no need for these idiots.
there isn't anything wrong with leave it to beaver & green acres tv shows – I loved them, when I was a kid – and still do, probably always will, but I don't watch them anymore – - – The reason that they were brought up was : it was comparing the GOP'ers Mind – Set – it means that their Minds are Still in the 1950's – 1960's – and NOT thinking that the demographics and this country has and IS and HAS been changing – we aren't in the mind-set of the 1950 or 1960's – Is the GOP that Naieve ?
Rick McDaniel PLEASE CITE YOUR SOURCE OR ELSE YOUR JUST ANOTHER RIGHT WING WINDBAG.
What is this family's obsession about being President. Is he really so clueless to think that after the disastrous reign of his numbnut brother that people are still going to vote for him.

Other things that make you say Hmmm, Rudy:
"Together, we will move our Party forward and improve upon all that we accomplished over the past two years."
All this talk of moving "forward". Hmmm. Popular word ... coming from GOPers. Wonder why "forward" is all of a sudden so important to them.
