(CNN) - Modest hiring continued in November and the unemployment rate fell to its lowest level in nearly four years, according to a report released Friday.

The U.S. economy added 146,000 jobs in November, and the unemployment rate fell to 7.7% from 7.9% in October, the Labor Department said. That's the lowest unemployment rate since December 2008.

With Fox foreign owned media purging their payrolls of the likes of Morris and Rove, and Armey being let go, along with the Romney transition team getting fired, you would think that the unemployment would be over 8.

A wingnut bet that all the jobs were minimum wage. But that is what the GOP wants, because they are anti union. The GOPers will not be happy until we return to slave labor or repeal the minimum wage laws.

One of the harder things to do in life is ADMIT when you are wrong.....especially if you hate and look for and manufacture reasons to justify that hatred! You can see this reflected very easily in their words! It's ok and a good thing to give credit if it is due. There is no harm in recognizing reality. It's call growth when you do that. Jobs are jobs and they help people. High paying or low paying....you are getting paid,It's productive. So let's get behind our president and build our countries infrastructure and energy independence and keep moving in the right direction! Higher pay will come with this and we all benefit!

    1. The number of "seasonal" jobs in this number is the same as 2011 or 2004 or 1984, the point being there has been no change to BLS accounting for seasonal jobs.

    2. There are 10,000 boomers retiring every day so that is roughly a minimum of 300k leaving the work force in any one month

Facts are facts, except when they are "Fox facts"

hey the black cloud inside the silver lining that the right wingers will use is that these are "seasonal jobs" Guess what...I have been on my seasonal job now for 27 years. You have to start somewhere.

Facts are facts. 7.7% is less than 7.9%. We are headed in the right direction. Memo to GOP: Get on board in building up America or get out of the way.

  13. Just a thought

@wilson.....listen, don't look now but the unemployment rate is coming down. In fact, they are say that Sandy depressed this numbers, seasonal jobs or not. So go lay down and give it a rest. You haven't a clue and that's obvious.

After watching the administration manipulate those numbers for months, I ignore them, as nothing but propaganda.

Whew. Thank goodness I made that left turn foward when I did. Falling into oblivion probably wouldn't be a very good cup of tea for me anyway you look at it.
