
(CNN) - Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor on Wednesday turned down a request that she block part of Obamacare that would require companies' health plans to provide for coverage of certain contraceptives, such as the morning-after pill.
Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., and Mardel, Inc. and five family members involved in ownership and control of the corporations had protested the requirement, which is to kick in January 1.

This proviso is a part and parcel of the law. Which should not and ought not hamper the main law. Religious bigotry is so rampant in here. Just strike down.

Good. For some reason Viagra is, I believe, covered. If this is so, why not help women protect themselves from these "fully-loaded" men? If these "christian" businesses would consider the feelings of their female customers, they would be better off. In fact, they should mind their own businesses. What women need in regards to their healthcare is a private matter and should not be dictated by the businesses.
I think allowing employers to deny or withhold some forms of medical services "on moral grounds" because it violates their religious beliefs is a slipper slope of the worst kind. What is stop someone from denying employees any medical coverage because the employer cliams to believe in faith healing?
