"REPUBLICANS and TEA PARTY MEMBER OBSTRUCTIONISTS are jeopardizing faith in Government".

Congress holds the Purse, not the President and these Congress people aren't Economist, they're doctors and lawyers. We put our faith in doctors to make us well, we put our faith in a lawyer to win our case in court, so why should we have faith in these people, who aren't working in their degree field, to fix the biggest economy in the World. B.S.

I have faith in my government. My problem is that; after having watched conservatives systematically destroy the economy by siphoning away the wealth in this country; after having listened to those same conservatives all but declare war against the government; after having listed to conservatives tell the rest of us that you're on your own; after taking notice of Herman Cain spill beans when he said, "if you're not rich by now, it's your own fault."; even after all of that I stil have faith in my government because I know that government is not the enemy.

    WHAT "faith" in government ???

I lived through the Rodney King riots in LA.

The LAPD ran away like little girls in yellow dresses!
“You are on your own” !!!

Government will fail you 100% of the time !!!

That is EXACTLY what the tea party Republicans came to Washington to do!!! When the average working American DOES lose faith in our government, we become easy pawns for the big players in the economy. We will live or die at the will of those with the most money, just like the masses in Third World countries. Rudy NYC got it exactly right. We need to know who our REAL enemies are.

    You make a good point.
Exactly what degree does Obama hold?
Or does he really have a degree or is that something you learned fron CNN?

Anthony and Rudy are the typical people who have been brainwashed and cannot see the issue objectively. The issue is both sides of congress and the president are driving this nation into the ground because they cannot work together.

Faith? You want faith, get a dog or cat. When it comes to politicians, greed will out. The people now in power, because they've been elected, are without question the most faithless bunch or hypocrites ever to hold office. To even suggest that the present elected officials deserve faith is a travesty to any person with intelligence.

I have the utmost faith the government will take care of me. I don't work and don't plan on looking for a job, but that is not my fault. The government and all people who have jobs owe me-it is only fair! Just because you work, save and have money doesn't mean you can run around and spend it on things you want. Remember, it is mine too! With that said, USC is on tv. Happy New Year-now get back to work.

What compromises have the GOP offered? Nothing. Boehner took his million dollar Plan B off the table because his own side told him so, not because Democrats rejected it.

After tettering on an unnerving cliff for so long, everyone may need treatment for Post Traumatic Stress.

You bet we are fed up. Fed up with a Congress that signs pledges for everything except what they were
elected to do. Those who have tossed their Pledge of Allegiance to America aside, are nothing more than
greedy, self-centered stuffed shirts that only want to hear themselves speak.
If they think our anger will subside just because they come up with some agreement they are sadly
mistaken. We will not forget what they done to the greatest Country on Earth.

"What compromises have the GPO offered?"
I will ask you the same question, What compromises has the DEMS offered?
Obama no. Reid no. And you charge the GOP as being the party of NO.
