New York to pass nation's first gun control bill since Newtown shooting

New York (CNN) - Lawmakers in New York are poised to pass a new set of gun laws intended to fortify the state's assault weapons ban, limit the number of bullets in ammunition magazines and strengthen laws that keep the mentally ill from firearms.

The Democratic-controlled Assembly, which has been largely in favor of tight gun laws, is expected to take up the measure early Tuesday afternoon.

"The government encouraged the manufacture of military firearms for the criminals to use. Thus to foster a feeling of insecurity which will lead the American people to volunteer to disarm themselves by passing laws against firearms. Using drugs and hypnosis on mental patients in a process called ORION, the CIA gave the desire for these people to open fire on school yards and thus inflaming the anti-gun lobby." LOL! That guy quite literally believes (and publicly professes) that the US gov't signed a treaty with extraterrestrials in 1954 and that we have a secret base on Mars.

Was posting him supposed to support an argument on behalf of the NRA and other gun SALES activists or was it supposed to function as a giant spotlight on their obvious mental problems?

I'd be careful if I was you... do you really want to open up the discussion of what an individual's idea of "happiness" and "peace of mind" is? That can be as varied as each individual is.
