Washington (CNN) – At times angry and choked with emotion, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Wednesday took on Republican critics of her department's handling of the September terrorist attack in Libya that killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans, but repeatedly distanced herself from a direct role in specific situations.
"As I have said many times since September 11, I take responsibility," Clinton told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee at the first of two long-anticipated congressional hearings Wednesday on the attack that became a major issue in the November presidential election.

Should anyone be surprised that a right winger does not seem to understand what "full responsibility' even means? The whole point of this exercise by Republicans is to put a stain on someone's record. A stain that would only get embillished with more and more distorted beliefs as time passed.
While the NRA protects my right to own a personal nuke, McCain needs to invoke the Palin doctrine and tutor Hillary on its details.

Lie: Iraq has WMDs. How do we know this is a lie? Before the invasion we had experts in Iraq checking suspected sites. After the invasion we had experts checking, none were found. In order to say someone is lying there most be evidence to the contrary. Just saying someone is lying does not make it so.
The REAL truth needs to come out about ,"Who told Miss Rice to give false information to the American people, and why? She , herself stated , while walking though an airport to reports and shown on television, information given to her by a SENIOR WHITE HOUSE OFFICIAL." Instead of telling who and the truth, American taxpayers have to speculate who that might be. Choices: Axelrod, Jarrett, or the President. Done so to protect the re-election and to maintain the falsehood that Al-queda was on the run.

The death of any American, including the men and women of the military, should not be brushed aside. So if the GOP is trying to crucify Clinton, then those same "Good Ole Boys" need to respond/take the heat for how many lives lost in a war brought on by SUSPECTED weapons of Mass Destruction, that were never found...and how many trillions of dollars have we spent.......?
I have a lot of respect for Hillary Clinton. Sadly she is part of a completely corrupt and dysfunctional administration. I would have supported her run in 2016 but thanks to the Obama administration, she has a huge uphill climb.

Full responsability means answering all the questions instead of dodging and misleading as she has done from the start. She stained her own record. As for feeling bad every American feels bad. In the real world it works like this: I screwed up: This is what really happened: Please forgive me and here are the decisive steps taken so this never happens again. Of course its government so there is no accountability at the top and especially with this ethically challenged administration.

These Repubs are scary. They know there are icebergs ahead in the dark, but they side with the Tea Party, Limbaugh, and the Hannity bunch as they yell "fire up the last boilers, lets go full steam ahead".
Was she aware of all of the previous attacks on the consulate? And all the attacks on others in the area?? And it was 9/11 for God's sake!! Did she actually have to put others on high alert? That should have been done a week prior! I think what we have here is total, utter incompetence, pure and simple. And 4 Americans are dead because of it. Anybody else would have been fired, or would have resigned in disgrace for this. But the media has shielded Hillary Clinton and Obama from the consequences of their incompetence and negligence.
