Washington (CNN) – Sen. John Kerry, the president's nominee for secretary of state, put America's anxiety over Iran front and center during his confirmation hearing, saying the "questions surrounding Iran's nuclear program" must be resolved.
"The president has made it definitive," Kerry told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Thursday during what is expected to be an easy confirmation process.
If all of the Republicans said that they have no objection to Kerry, then at least one of them is lying.
Listening to Sen. Johnson and Paul during the hearing with Clinton and then with Kerry today. They are very narrow minded Tea Party members, not looking at the broad picture of the war. Kerry had to give them some advice with his comments to them. They are also not about to compromise or except reasoning. It is scary to have them on this committee and in the Senate, they are radical traitors to us.
