The only reason this makes any sense is that it cannot be much worse than the current educational system. It's really more of a 'we're pretty screwed on education, so let's go ahead and allow internet schools because it's not going to make it any worse'. Actually, if internet school introduced a bit of voucher or free-market approach to public schooling, I could see that being very beneficial just because public schools will have to actually get their act together to keep students (and tax money) at their school and not somewhere else.

A Republican that cares about education? Now there's a switch, Usually one of the first things they want to cut IS education especially in the lower income areas. It is a proven fact that the more educated you are the less of a chance you would vote for or become Republican ( or listen to the likes of Rush and follow FoxNews). Google it if you you don't believe me.
