McCain moves from backer to skeptic on Hagel

Washington (CNN) - During his 2000 presidential run, a New Hampshire voter asked Republican Sen. John McCain who he might choose as secretary of defense.

McCain responded by tossing out the name of a dear old friend and colleague, the very man who would be nominated to that post by a Democrat and frequent McCain target 13 years later.

How sad....if the gop wants to win elections they need to support the people that the people supports. We the people support the president. Immigration is fine but showing bipartistion support for some of the president's policies would show a greater willingness to tackle the probelms we a nation face. John McCain is allowing his defeat to cloud his true purpose for being elected. That is to serve the people not oppose the man that defeated him

McCain moral authority has expired when he chooses Sarah Palin for VP. That was a scare for America, very reckless man and a war monger should retire, thank you for his service though. He has passed his prime long ago now he just here for vengeance, because he couldn’t be the president.

Can ANY republican currently holding public office say or even admit that Obama has done a good job at anything??? McCain loved Hagel until Obama liked him! Only Governor Christy knows how to give credit where credit is due! And that got him into hot water with members of his party, it also gave him credibility! Something no other republican has ...not one. This nation is not blind or ignorant to this fact. Bobby Jindal was spot on when he said the republican party was kown as the party of stupid....

John – You're Not The President.

Stop trying to tell the man who won in 2008 how to govern. We chose him twice, not you or styrofoam man, because we knew he's smarter and more skilled at governing than you two are.

Just go back into your corner and pretend you're the Tasmanian Devil to impress the media about how you're a "maverick."

McCain is bitter if Obama is for it he is against it pretty sad actually. There was once when McCain was honorable but he sold all his credibility in his quest for higher office.
