(CNN) - Under the right conditions, the United States is willing to hold direct talks with Iran, Vice President Joe Biden said Saturday.
The United States "would be prepared to meet bilaterally with the Iranian leadership," he said during a speech at the Munich Security Conference.
We've been "talking" with these people for decades with zero results. They just shake their heads at our gullibility and keep on developing their nuclear agenda.
They say that, but they never do it.
He will not get John McCains blessing.
what ever it takes. Joe is right . Every avenue must be explored before we resort to military action.
Those of you who support military action need to be willing to go to war and send your children. With only about 1% of Americans identified as veterens, after ten years of constant war, few of you have earned the right to encourage military action. A war with Iran, especially at this time, would require reinstatement of the draft. I would hope this time we'd not offer religious, college, gender, or age deferrments. Let everybody have a dog in the fight.
Smart, smart move by Biden and the Obama Administration. Developing relations with Iran is the key to stabalizing the Middle East. And the Iranian Presidential elections are coming up and the Ayatollohs are like Sopreme Court and they could put in a profoundly extemist President. A very smart move for us to develop a closer and productive diplomatic relation with Iran
