Washington (CNN) – Secretary of State John Kerry said Wednesday he had some ideas on how to change Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's thinking about remaining in power, which he hopes will persuade the embattled leader to negotiate with the opposition on an end to the violence.
"We need to address the question of President Assad's calculation currently. I believe there are additional things that can be done to change his current perception," Kerry told reporters after meeting with Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, adding: "I've got a good sense of what I think we might propose."
If this were a Republican administration we would already know what their response would be. Invade. But, you don't invade until after you soften up the resistance with an extended bombardment from the air. Don't take my word for it. Listen to John McCain and so many others who have spoken about doing exactly that, including former Gov. Romney.
And they're still scratching their heads trying to figure out why they lost in so badly in 2012.
Kerry is the man for the right job, kerry will be during good, they made the right choice when put kerry in the seat. Its them republicans the mad with obama because he want cut the budgets where they wants obama to cut.
Perhaps Kerry will get something done, besides give away money in foreign aid, that we don't have! That's all Hillary ever did.
